I think 'eku' is just a prefix that can't stay on its own. It doesn't really make any sense when it stays on its own. Perhaps it could mean many things depending on what and when it's been attached to and used.

We got three MAJOR tribes in Kogi. Igala; Kogi East, Okun; Kogi West and Ebira; Kogi Central.

Smart Adeyemi was a senator who represented Kogi west in the Senate. Dino Melaye is the present senator representing us
