Nigeria spent Billions of Dollars defending a pegged Naira in a dwindling Economy. Despite the efforts by the Central Bank to keep the naira stable, it fell at a rapid rate to the dollar in the black market.The Central Bank decided to adopt another strategy to save our limited foreign reserves. The Modern Floating Exchange rate seemed the new messiah to our economic woes. After spending Billions of dollars from our limited reserves to make dollars available in banks for those who demanded it. Despite this intervention, the naira kept the momentum of falling at a rapid rate. It is time for us to come up with another solution and keeping this country in the bondage of a selected few has to stop. It is time for President Buhari to listen to what Ifeanyi Ubah offers. It is time for this government to roll it's sleeves and fight this recession. People are starving on the streets and their homes. This government needs to relieve the burden on our reserves. Setting up modular refineries will ease this pressure, provides jobs for the masses and create training in the expertise in Petroleum Production. Just as this administration wants to boost local production in our agricultural products, we need to boost our local production in Petroleum Products. This is what Ifeanyi Ubah offers and it is time this administration gives ear to him.
