[quote author=Icemany post=50715352]The North believe in the rich being rich, living rich,
Marrying rich and being worshipped by the poor.

This mentality is peculiar to rich people all over Nigeria and not only the North

Well, your attitude is the reason why your traditional can't compare themselves with North Monarchs. This is our cultural wear of dressing and your pathetic criticism has no effect on our cultural values. If e vex u go and hug transformer

Don't be foolish , if you don't have something decent to say just keep your stupid opinion to yourself.

Across the Niger we have other traditions who wear heavy royal attires and across all cultures around the world. The Edo wear heavy beads, the ijaw wear what must be very heavy overcoat garments and tall top hats, Yoruba wear heavy offi in this insane heat , have you not seen the full ceremonial assemblage of the pope or the queen of England in her order of st George tunic.

Abeg go sit down

I would have blamed it on ignorance but the comments on this thread are not borne out of ignorance. It's just a hate for some set of people and wilful disrespect to people's cultures.

Comments such as him being kidnapped and replace, suffocation or what have you is not out of sincerity. It is just in a bid to mock them. Are you saying the people will be so stupid to ignore the climate and put on turbans, robes etc It's not necessary to comment and there are beautiful views of our cultural attires to cherish.

Well, when comments are free, unguarded thoughts are. . .
