Please I want to upgrade my pc to win 7. Can anyone help me?

Boot with Window 7 Dvd. (window 7 RTM i.e build 7600 will be a better option)
Follow the installation prompt and select upgrade option. (Upgrade will take longer time cos ur system will be backed-up so that you will loose non of ur files)

But doing fresh installation for win 7 will be the best if you get appropriate drivers for ur hardware.***Tip: I discovered most Win XP drivers work perfectly with win 7, you may google it up anyway.

i got my win 7 RTM activated using OEM loader. check the internet, new OEM loaders are surfacing daily

install win 7 before the OEM loader or vice verser

Finally Jumped on the Windows 7 train,though it took me about 3 hours to install.Upgrading is very seamless,all you need do is select the upgrade option and wait a couple of hours and your game!

Abeg someone should help me, I just finished downloading win7 but I don't know how to install it on my 32bit system. Abeg someone please help me

why do you want to do an upgrade

when you can do a custom clean install,

did you know that you face problems if yu upgrade??

anyways, Burn yur copy of win7 to a dvd,  and boot,

use nero or ultraISO to burn yur copy to dvd media

If you don't to loose your files,you can simply create a backup by transferring you files to an external HDD or using a couple of DVD's.Though i did an upgrade at first,i am still planning on doing a custom installation.

You will insert your Win 7 DVD to your drive and be connected to the internet before the upgrade then you will be prompted whether to upgrade or Fresh installation as take as appropriate to you and that's all, remember backup your files before embarking on this journey.

Why should you be downloading a trial copy when i have the last build on my ftp server and its the MSDN iso, go grab it here:

next time partition ur drive so ur os resides on 1 and files on the other, dat way if ur os fokasibe u can not lose stuff, plus u can format ur os partition and do fresh installs easily

MS technet recomends fresh install, and so do I, reason is because Vista has its flops and upgrading might just elevate the problems associated with Vista.
So my advice is for you to find time to backup your files and just do a fresh install so that when there is a problem with ur OS u could easily trace the solutions. 230gb is not too much to backup.
