Following the just concluded US presidential election... Many expected Hilary Clinton to be the president elect, but unfortunately... So my question is, did she lose because she's a woman or people just perceived her as being dishonest?

Hillary didn't lose cos the Americans were smart or something, there is innate racism worrying them over there. if you check the demographics of the the voters you'd see that majority of those who voted for Hillary are the younger ones i.e below 40 while majority of those who voted for trump are the elderly middle class who are mainly conservative.
So its just another classic case of the older generation ruining it for the younger ones.
