Iponri Police Division Loses DPO by arlomah: 4:39pm On Nov 09, 2016
The officers of Iponri Police Division of the Lagos State Police Command are heartbroken following the passing of the Divisional Police Officer, CSP Segun Fagbohun, who died yesterday, Tuesday, November 8, 2016.
According to a report by Punch Newspapers, CSP Fagbohun, a 43-year-old police officer who hailed from Odo-Aye, Ondo State, had been battling ulcer for some months. Before his passing, he reportedly vomited in his car and later gave up the ghost in an undisclosed hospital.
The deceased was reportedly driven by his brother around 8:00am yesterday morning to keep an appointment when he complained about his health. He reportedly started vomiting moments after his brother advised that they stopped at a hospital for a checkup.
CSP Fagbohun reportedly died in a private hospital in Ikeja where he was rushed to by his brother. His corpse was subsequently deposited at the morgue of the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja.
Speaking on his demise, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Dolapo Badmos, said an autopsy would be carried out on the corpse of the DPO.
