Well some of the posts on here are WOW, especially when you consider the type of camera being used. At the same time [size=24pt]the post's title on the front page is misleading [/size] . It is not just for you to go to copy and paste your favorite pictures from wherever or for you to post multiple pictures of your face [size=14pt](there's freaking facebook for that  )[/size]. We would like to see original work instead, even you if you want put pictures of your face there should be something interesting about that picture itself [size=16pt](ex. emmakc[/size]) , like the angle at which the light falls on your face, or maybe you made the picture pop in some sort of editing software, then in that case we may appreciate the before and after. And share tips etc,

Thanks for your comments. I use Photoshop for retouching - have been using it since 1996 for graphics work and then later for web design. Photography has been a long-time hobby but only got serious in it this year. I still do not make money taking pictures. I use all Cannon gears.

TIP: Please endeavor to [b]resize [/b]your image, why?

1. It is more visually appealing when we can see the entire frame; have you ever sat in the front row of a cinema before?

2. It helps those who have slower connections because your image loads faster.

3. Resizing does not necessarily reduce the quality of the image.

I upload to tinypic.com and then insert with the html whatnot. You said I shouldn't save and upload from the net; the other option is to attatch directly form my hard drive. But most of my pics are bigger than 200kb, the maximum size allowed to upload. So what's the way forward?

ohh, We are not on the same page. What I meant was that U should upload your own work. Do not take pics from the internet. The poster said "show us your stuff".
