KJV:And he rose up that night, and took his two wives, and his two womenservants, and his eleven sons, and passed over the ford Jabbok.

KJV:And he took them, and sent them over the brook, and sent over that he had.

KJV:And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day.

KJV:And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob's thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him.

KJV:And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said, I will not let thee go, except thou bless me.

KJV:And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob.

KJV:And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed.

MESSAGE

Divine Encounter: This is the meeting of the Divine and the Human.
Also it is an astounding,astonishing meeeting between the terrestrial and celestial.
Or it is a bewildering & glorious meeting between man and the Supernatural.

REASONS FOR DIVINE ENCOUNTER

** To give us an unforgettable Divine experience that will leave us with an indelible,ecstatic, rapturous,rhapsodic, & excitic experience of life.
** To give us a regenerative,transformative & a reformative live experience that is unique & unusual in life.
** is a destiny changing experience
** will keep us on our toes & make us live in consciousness of God presence in everyday of our lives(& everywhere we go).
** Makes us carry God's presence and His fear everywhere we go.
** It is an in resistable power of God that blocks( hinders) us from going out of God's will(I.e it enables us to live in accordance to God's will and obey it).
** when the Divine power of God rest on us,it drives,consumes,urge, propel & compel us to be thirsty and to be hungry for more of God(our appetite for world will die).
** It is a miraculous encounter.
** It will make us do the impossible.

EXAMPLES IN BIBLE
1. JACOB:
** (his name means a deceiver, a supplanter)Gen 25:29-34
** Gen 27:18-19, here he took that which belong to his brother Esau.
-- he (jacob) left home and became a vagabond (wanderer) & This was the beginning of his preparation for his Divine Encounter.
-- Wherever people like this go to, things will starts boomeranging(returning to,backfiring) them in all areas of life, they need to have a divine encounter.
-- if jacob( and everyone in this shoe in the church) does not have a Divine encounter with God, they won't end well.

ACTION POINT
Think deeply what is that problem/condition that is following you around.

When you have noticed it, tell it to God, that God from His Divine abode, should visit you and put an end to that problem/conditions.
