So it was this great outcry of the Earth against the very grievous sin of the men of Sodom that led to that result.

But what was it really about the sin of the men of Sodom that made it very grievous for the Earth to react so furiously against it?

It was homosexuality, for the men of Sodom slept with their fellow men(Genesis 19:1-9), and the gravity of such a sin and hence what made it evoke such a great outcry from the Earth, could be deduced from this saying of God to His own people Israel, for it was said:

22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
23 Neither shalt thou lie with any beast to defile thyself therewith: neither shall any woman stand before a beast to lie down thereto: it is confusion.

25 And the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land itself vomiteth out her inhabitants.

So homosexuality was not just a sin but a very grievous sin that ranks of abominable proportions to the Earth, because of the extent of defilement it brings upon her body.

Therefore the extent of her outcry against the homosexuality of the men of Sodom was just a reflection of the extent to which their abominable act being committed upon her defiled her body.

So the consequence of her great outcry against the men of Sodom, which was the annihilation of the inhabitants of that land, was an illustration of the Earth vomiting them out of her body, according to that saying of God to His people Israel.

For God had told them that it was because of such abominable sins of the former inhabitants of the land that made the Earth to spue them out of her body, so that if they did likewise she would do the same to them and also spue them out.

So if that saying of God was anything to go by, then that would explain what happened to the people of the days of Noah who were destroyed by the flood, and those of Sodom and Gomorrah who were destroyed by the brimstone and fire, and the inhabitants of the land of Canaan who were destroyed by the hands of God's people Israel etc., for it was the land vomiting them out of her body, because of such abominable practices they committed upon her which corrupted and defiled her body.

So if God's people did the same thing and defiled her body as those before them did that made her to spue them out, she would also spue the people of God out.

And she certainly did, as it was said:

So the Earth was not a respecter of peoples when it came to the defilement of her body, for it doesn't matter if they are the people of God or not, as long as they engage in abominable practices that corrupt and defile her body, she would do what the Earth does to such people and simply vomit them out of her body.

For then the men that have shown themselves to have no respect for her or body, that they would defile her body with such abominable sins to that extent, would leave her with no choice but to vomit them out, since they do not deserve her respect or consideration either.

For the Earth has shown herself right from the beginning after man was formed from the dust of her body and made a living soul by God(Genesis 2:7), that she did not deserve such disrespect from man.

For despite that man emanated from her body, she yet submitted herself to his authority to show the extent of her humility(Genesis 1:26-28).

And also her hospitality and generosity when she allowed man to freely eat of any of her fruits, except that of the knowledge of good and evil, without stress or any sweat at all(Genesis 2:9, 16-17).

Therefore she had shown that she had no problem with man living on her body, but that being man's landlady and the source of his body etc., that man did not disrespect her, by doing things that would defile her body.

So was that too much for her to ask of him?

So it was only after man showed her some disrespect by committing sin upon her body, that her problem with man actually began, because that was when man now had to toil and labour hard to be able to eat of the fruits her body produced(Genesis 3:17-19).

But it seemed as though man hadn't learnt his lesson having gone from freely eating of the Earth's fruits, to now having to toil and only eat bread out of the sweat of his face, for man would then for the first time go to the extent of shedding the blood of his fellow man upon her body, and make her to receive his innocent blood in her mouth(Genesis 4:9-12).

So man could not possibly blame her for taking that away from him as well, as the ingrate of a man who she used to help to produce food of the seeds that he used to sow into her body, now found it difficult to even get food out of the same body which he so abused, regardless of his toil and sweat, because she no longer yielded to him her strength as she used to, making him to become a perpetual fugitive and vagabond upon her body.

And that was how their relationship kept deteriorating, as man kept multiplying his wicked and abominable deeds upon her body, up to the point that she had to vomit them out, because the extent to which her body had been corrupted and defiled by man in that respect had become much more than her body could possibly bear.

So the famines, floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, droughts, pestilence, volcanic eruptions, tornadoes, global warming etc., that trouble the men who inhabit the Earth, is actually the Earth's response to the defilement of her body by man, for it wasn't so in the beginning when man had shown her no such disrespect.

That's why it behoves men as those of us who have respect for the woman called Earth as God her Creator does, to fight for her body rights, and speak against the very grievous sins and abominable acts of men such as homosexuality which greatly defiles her body and makes her cry out in much distress.

For aside the fact that it would make her to want to vomit them out of her body, the woman called Earth doesn't deserve such disrespect from man who came out of her own body.

But the woman called Earth has a very large heart, so if man could change and start to show her some respect by treating her body with the respect her body deserves, her body's is inclined to reciprocate the gesture, by making fruits of the respect that was shown to her by man.
