May I ask why you have chronic osteomyelitis?

Treatment is parenteral or Intravenous antibiotics. May try oral route as well.

No supplements, just eat well balanced diet comprising of proteins, good fats, vitamins: foods that facilitate would healing.

You need to find you a good 'wound care' specialists or your general primary care doc. health care personnel can do this.

Best.

@ Xiadnat, Are you sexually active? Get a pregnancy test if you are. Then tests for STD.
There's also hernia; in which case you either bear it or get surgical repair. But, that's after you rule out other things first.
Best.
Pls, i'm not that sexual active, what are the other things to rule out first?

In order to tell you what else: Tell me more about yourself: age, medical issues, any surgeries? Menses: regular, normal bleed etc?

Describe pain in the abdomen/pelvis more, sharp, dull, nausea, constipation? What about pain the leg/ankle? Any numbness, tingling? Any back pain?

Pls doc. Can clomid be used by someone with pcod?

By PCOD you mean polycystic ovarian disease? Yes, you can if you are trying to get pregnant though.

Are you trying to conceive then? Have tried other measures such as losing weight, using metformin?

Sir/madam;

Are you ill? Staph can only cause serious infection if it is the blood stream. If that is the case, you need IV antibiotics in the hospital to eradicate it.

If you are not ill, then staph is not really killing you. Staph is a common bug found in many people and usually not a problem unless you got an underlying problem like immune depressed.

Please tell me more about what you are feeling like symptoms or what?

Does it shake randomly when at rest or more like with activity?

There is essential tremor that often is familial.

Do you have other symptoms, similar issue with family member or what is your medical history?

Do you also take excessive caffeinated beverages?

It sounds like you have teeth/gum sensitivity. Causes include: rigorous or harsh teeth brushing, gingivitis, grinding teeth or overly exposed gums.

Do you do or have any of the above listed causes? That may be the answer to how to solve the issue.

May also get sensodyne; it's special tooth past for those with sensitive gum. See a dentist, if you can afford one.

Re snoring: what is your age range? are you overweight, smoke , breathing problems? Not much for this except modify risk factors and get CPAP if episodes of apnea, also may need to get Polysomnography depending on extent of snoring and effects.

Good luck

If she is currently infected with pus and everything, then she needs IV antibiotics preferably. But, if that is not feasible, she can get oral antibiotics: Trimethoprim/sulfamethoxazole or bactrim, clindamycin, linezolid or fluoroquinolones. She needs to stay on abx for up to 8 weeks and re-evaluated for resolution by a qualified doc.

But,

She really needs to get this pus cultured for the specific bug so antibiotics can be targeted to this bug. But, the aforementioned abx will target most common cause which is Staph aureus.

I will also suggest bone debridement to wash out the bone of pus. This will facilitate proper infection resolution and faster wound healing.

Good luck.

Maybe food allergies, bowel obstruction or just dyspepsia. I need more info: is she nauseous, passing gas? bloated? bowel movement: constipated? Diarrhea? Belching?

She could track which food is responsible if any and limit it. Could as simple as certain food not agreeing with her.

Practicing breath focus

Breath focus helps you concentrate on slow, deep breathing and aids you in disengaging from distracting thoughts and sensations. It’s especially helpful if you tend to hold in your stomach.

First steps. Find a quiet, comfortable place to sit or lie down. First, take a normal breath. Then try a deep breath: Breathe in slowly through your nose, allowing your chest and lower belly to rise as you fill your lungs. Let your abdomen expand fully. Now breathe out slowly through your mouth (or your nose, if that feels more natural).

Breath focus in practice. Once you’ve taken the steps above, you can move on to regular practice of breath focus. As you sit comfortably with your eyes closed, blend deep breathing with helpful imagery and perhaps a focus word or phrase that helps you relax.

The benefits of deep breathing
Deep breathing also goes by the names of diaphragmatic breathing, abdominal breathing, belly breathing, and paced respiration. When you breathe deeply, the air coming in through your nose fully fills your lungs, and the lower belly rises.
For many of us, deep breathing seems unnatural. There are several reasons for this. For one, body image has a negative impact on respiration in our culture. A flat stomach is considered attractive, so women (and men) tend to hold in their stomach muscles. This interferes with deep breathing and gradually makes shallow “chest breathing” seem normal, which increases tension and anxiety.
Shallow breathing limits the diaphragm’s range of motion. The lowest part of the lungs doesn’t get a full share of oxygenated air. That can make you feel short of breath and anxious.
Deep abdominal breathing encourages full oxygen exchange — that is, the beneficial trade of incoming oxygen for outgoing carbon dioxide. Not surprisingly, it can slow the heartbeat and lower or stabilize blood pressure.

Oh..so the pain is in the epigastric area (upper abdomen) not the chest.
Ok. Then things it could be likely based on what you have said so far: gastritis, perhaps ulcerated base.
Go and get another test for H.pylori. Report back if you wish. If you have been treated for one before, then it's possible it was not effective and you may need to be retreated. Treatment failure is likely.

Can also be pancreatitis; do you drink? Obese?
Can also be gall bladder issues: is it worse after food?

Good luck

@ Xiadnat, thnks for ur response.
I'm 28, married for 11months, i had irregular menses, i did a scan in september 2014 that saw ovarian cyst @ d left side only, but since december 2014 till last month, i did have my menses for 3 days on 26 everymonth. No surgery. The pelvic pains on both side come and go every 10 hours, also with pack pain. The ankle pains has reduced, but my stomach makes sound as if a fish is swimming in a pond of water once in a while with no abdominal pain. I do hear d sound myself. Thnks

Pelvic pain: likely from enlarging ovarian cyst. Need to pay visit to GYN doc and ultrasound your pelvis/abdomen to figure out what that cyst is doing. You also need to have your doc r/o malignant cyst.

Abdominal sound: like a gurgling sound, your abdomen contains your intestines which are large tubes with liquid/solids moving about. You may an obstruction somewhere along that is causing liquids not able to pass completely pass thru and "slushes" around. Could also be just lots of gas in the abdomen.

Are you having regular bowel movement or stooling? Are you passing gas? Do you have food allergies?

See a GYN and rule out tumor obstruction. Get CT scan of abdomen and pelvis + or ultrasound pelvis

Good luck.

Well, I can recommend conservative measures. But, I would suggest to get a Polysomnography to see if sleep apnea a factor. If it is, then you absolutely need CPAP to avoid the deleterious effects of prolonged untreated sleep apnea.

Try:
Sleeping on your sides instead of sleeping on your back or belly.
If you take sedatives drugs or alcoholic drinks; stop or limit them.
Loose weight
If you have allergies, avoid them or treat with decongestants
Try saline nasal spray: mix well 1/4 tsp table salt + 1/2 cup water; squirt few drops into nostrils

Best.

She may have celiac sprue; which is a gluten allergy. Avoid anything that has wheat, barley, oats, rye. This is pretty difficult to do especially in developing world where food access and choices are limited.

How old is this person? Can see if you GP can test you for Celiac Sprue at your convenience. If you can afford a gastroenterologist, that would be your best option to thoroughly investigate what else (like parasites) and if gluten allergy.

If she is passing stools, it could still be obstruction, but partial. But, do see your Doc, and get a basic health inspection that includes abdominal exam and then go from there.

Did you say you've been treated for malaria before? Either way, go and get tested for malaria and treat accordingly.

There's also other parasites.

Go to you doctor and get: blood count with peripheral smear (for parasites in the blood) and then get stool culture for ova and (parasites outside the blood)

Re: Dysuria (pain with urination): could be urinary tract infection, could be STD. If you are sexually active, get tested for chlamydia and gonorrhea, and HIV. If you are not sexually active, get a urine analysis by urine dipstick to check for non-STD infections. If positive, then you need antibiotics.

Re: Weakness: may be anemic; get the blood count i mentioned first, can report back with results if you wish. And, we will go from there.

Re: Headache: you can tell me more about the nature of this headache. It depends on cause; could simple or complex, but can take tylenol or ibuprofen. OR just report back with results and we shall go from there.
