I wish to enquire how much it will cost me to obtain an international passport and how long it will take to obtain it. Because it's been ages since I obtained something of that nature.

Mine took three days,did it Alausa office.
The cost shouldn't be less than N20000, hold extra cash in case,with necessary documents

There is no passport booklet in all NIS office frm ABJ to LOS as I paid N28k for renewal and some paid N35k for same express service but now
NIS in ikoyi and festac confirmed that they are expecting deliveries from Abuja for the Plain Passport booklets for printing
