imagine, you go dey boldly argue with custom official for road thinking the 800k duty has covered your car, till they show you evidence that your agent actually paid 30k for okada inside container.

Even the 83k for the trucks is even under paid, them fit say as you dey pay your main duty for the 04 tundra make you kukuma complete duty payment for the Daf truck as well, unto saye say you hold the papers. grin

Bros, you never jam when customs official go copy your C number and input it into their system right there on site when you're apprehended. I've been actively purchasing and delivering cars to their clients on a very regular basis. I know what dealers can do, I also know what corrupt customs officials can do, and I also know what very very mean custom officials can do to folks.

If you still doubt his report, take your customs papers, go to the nearest CUSTOMS office and ask them to check in their system if its genuine.

Rubbish. I doubt the authenticity of your contact and information. Infact what the customs official told me on the road was that my car was cleared as a single cabin instead of a double cabin. But I decided to give u a false narrative just to see if you will come up with similar story with that of a custom officer.
How on earth will a custom officer let me go with my 2004 tundra when the paper says "DAF Truck".

The number I can see here is C107587. Was cleared at Tincan island in 2014. We are in the village and scared of coming back to Lagos.

After that you decide what you want.

This is the last person I will check duty for.

sorry if u find my post offensive. Am just very sure the info u gave me was incorrect. I have also reconfirmed from customs and their result largely stand in isolation to what u have provided. This car was inside a container and was cleared at tincan island. i bought the car in the US. Am out.

So this is how it goes, you own a Vehicle, or want to buy a Vehicle, and you not sure if the Cu5tom duty is original or fake, just post the following here.

* C Number
* Port of discharge
* Date of assessment.
* Name of vehicle.

Do not send Chassis/Vin.

I will respond with the following.

* last 6 digits of Chassis/VIN

* Amount Paid as duty.

Now if no records are found, or a different vehicle/ a container filled with iron rods is found, your certificate is fake.

This service will take a minimum of 24hours.

It is free for the next 5 posters.

After which it will cost a fee, please post info here and reach me on 08033910382 (sms/whatsapp)
