Is anyone else following the games? Man, this will be the biggest upset since Trump beat Clinton grin . I honestly thought Carlsen was going to defend his title but he hasn't been playing so great. . . Karjakin is currently leading 4.5 - 3.5 with just four games to go. Four games including game 9 that's currently being played. There's a peculiar position and I'm still wondering why Karjakin missed Ba4! I put the moves into two different engines and that was what they both played. Its a pretty obvious move. My guess is that Karjakin is trying to hold on to his bishop pair. But still, Ba4 was a cruise to victory in both engines for white.

After this there are three games left. Magnus Carlsen only has 8 minutes left on his clock and he is in a losing position

Current game position. This looks like another win for Karjakin, making it 5.5 - 3.5. . . I doubt if Carlsen can win the remaining three games.

I forgot that they were at move 38, both teams get a 50 minute increment by move 40 and a 15 minute increment by move 60. Karjakin has spent 16 minutes+ and hasn't still made his 39th move, probably force Carlsen to spend time responding. . . and probably make a blunder. . .

This is the same Sergey Karjakin that demolished a player from the Nigerian team at the World Chess Olympiad last two months.

NB: according to the statistics of high level matches, Carlsen's opening choice has never favored black. I wonder why he chose it?

Surprisingly enough, this game could turn out to be a draw. A queen exchange would be a draw as Karjakin's pawns on the f-file are doubled

Carlsen desperate for that Queen exchange. Lol. 47 Qe4+ Qe7

Move 59 and not much change in the game.

They agreed on a draw. The score is 5 - 4 in favor of Sergey Karjakin with 3 games to go

Carlsen should be more like fischer, 12 games is way too short he should have demanded 20+. Now even tho he is the better player he looks set to lose his title.

Yes. . .and Carlsen isn't eve playing his best, Karjakin has been outperforming him. Carlsen was even lucky to find a draw in this game

As in, I feel so bad for him. He should've never gone into tiebreaks, he should've just finished game 12

Yeah that's pretty sad for karjakin, he was so close to winning the title, he could have even made it 2 up in game 9.
