With the number of group members, N-power Community prides itself as the LARGEST convergence of volunteers across the country irrespective of States, LG, religion and colour.

It's members are more than the number of the 200,000 shortlisted for the first batch. This means that those who are expecting second batch are also member of this group.

Lagos is one of the states that started had slight hitches with verification exercise. While some other states verified volunteers on time, Lagos began January 2017.

In view of this a group was found to be a meeting point for volunteers who are based in Lagos.

1. Your full name in order in which it appears on your BVN
2. Your account number linked to your BVN
3. Your e-mail address

Note: If you’re married please dont forget to tell them that you’re.

How will I know if its Npower Calling? How to store N-Power Phone numbers

For you to be sure the call is from genuine N-Power official, please store the phone number on your phone by using something like this:
Npower1
Npower2 etc till you have all the five number stored.

This will enable you know that you’re talking to the right person, and that you’re in the safe hands.

A guy told us he called one of them names yesterday, because he’s uninformed about the new development.

The Presidency says the Federal Government will begin the non-graduates scheme component of the N-Power programme in July.

Afolabi Imoukhuede, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Job Creation (N-Power Scheme), disclosed this at the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) Forum in Abuja.

He said N-Power had two broad components, namely: graduate and non-graduate schemes.

“We are hopeful that by June/July we should deploy those ones in different batches across the country and FCT. So it is worthy of note that those who applied for that programme (non-graduates) should just stay rested.

“The fact that we have not deployed you doesn’t mean that we have forgotten you. We have all your details, we have all your contacts and we will deal with them.’’

Mr. Imoukhuede explained that the non-graduate component of the programme was designed to empower the beneficiaries with vocational skills.

“The non-graduate component is more of skills development and vocation programme. For vocational training, we have construction work, automobile technicians, technology, which is hardware and software.

“They will come in for a programme and three months they will go and (also do) apprenticeship for nine months.

“It is like one year engagement for them; while they are undergoing training they will get some stipends and they we will also provide them with necessary tools and consumables.”

Mr. Imoukhuede added that the scheme would also partner with employers for the apprenticeship programme and also give the volunteers some stipends.

According to him, that type of programme will not only be empowering the trainees, but transferring skills to them for life as well.

The presidential aide said the office had been working with relevant stakeholders to ensure successful implementation of the scheme.

“We have been working behind the scene; we have signed MoU with our partners, Automotive Development Council of Nigeria, for the automotive training.

“We have got quite some big partners and we are just finalising all our arrangements.”

He said while the process of procurement of the needed goods and consumables were going on in the office, the fast-track process was also going on in the Ministry of Budget and National Planning as well.

According to him, N-Power is the job creation component of the Social Investment Programme (SIP) of the current administration.

He said the office started working on the implementation as soon as the present administration was inaugurated on May 29, 2015.

He said by December 2015, the administration had come up with a blueprint on how to keep the promise it made to implement the scheme.

Mr. Imoukhuede described SIP as the most ambitious programme of the Federal Government, adding that so far, government had committed N500 billion to the programme.

“The programme received N500 billion in 2016, but unfortunately, it came at the time when the economy was grappling with low revenue,’’ he said.

The social investment programme has five components. They include the N-Power, being the job creation component; Home Grown School Feeding; the Conditional Cash Transfer; and the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP).

The last component is the Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) Junior.

Npower official called me,  but I'm yet to be paid

There are several reasons why you might be called by any of the newest Npower official phone numbers dedicated to solve issues related to unpaid stipend.

Media aid to Acting President Yemi Osinbajo was clear about Npower payment : "every successful volunteer will be paid," Mr. Laolu Akande said.


View days he made the assurance, 5 SPECIAL NUMBERS were launched to to resolve issues related to:

1. Unmatched BVN: Find out what constitutes unmatched BVN
2. Unmatched names

Those who had the above issues were called to sort out their issues, subsequent upon which their payments were to be effected.

But some volunteers are still expetant of their unpaid stipends which fall under BACKLOG

Read this if you've been called, but yet to be paid:
1. Your issue is being attended to
2. When your issue is fully resolved you'll be paid.


3. Your payment might not be immediate, but you'll be paid.
4. If npower has sufficiently ascetained and verified your details, then you should be expecting your payment

5. Be informed that your case is special, so when the little errors or slight makes in your details have been corrected your names falls under BACKLOG. The fact your name falls under backlog is an assurance that you'll be paid all your outstanding stipends begining from the month you're verified in your state. 


However, note that if your BVN details are totally and completely different from your NPVN details, or you're deteced to have been above 35 years at the time of application, then your data might be expunged from Npower database. That's a disqualification, SIMPLE.

The job is a marketing job at mfb, which I planned to quit if am selected at Npower. Can I still apply because I don't want to leave certainty for uncertainty. Autosbay pls answer me.

What to do If you missed Npower Call

As parts of N-power's effort to make sure every voluteer is paid, the scheme team launched Call The Volunteers Phone Numbers.

The essence is:

To call,
To align the financial details and
To align NPVN details of Npower volunteers.


It's possible you missed the call, and it's painful when such happened.

Apart from that, the service could be bad when the call came in.

Unfortunately, you can't call any of the five new phone numbers back when you missed the call, or the service was bad.


The phone lines have been configured not to receive calls so they'll be able to quickly as possible call and resolve challenges faced by unpaid volunteers.

What can I do if I missed Npower call? 

1. Send a text message to the specific line that called you, or the call you missed. I told you in one of our articles that you should store all the 5 dedicated lines as:

Npower1
Npower2 etc so that you would be able to know you missed an important call whenever you did.

The permanent secretary handling N-health has been contacted today, she therefore request course of study of all N-health beneficiaries so as to post you to the appropriate place of primary assignment. Modality in this regards will be made known to the beneficiaries concern.

Redeployment form is still on hold for now, the information we got says redeployment form may be ready during the commencement of the new intake. We re not certain yet, but we're hopeful everything surrounding redeployment will be made known to us next week.

No reason was given by npower for removing edit button from portals of volunteers, but security is perceived to be the cause of the action.

There were reports of account compromise last year and early this year when FG started paying volunteers.

A volunteer from Maidiguri told us this year that her e-mail was substituted by an uknown person. We suspected the cafe where she filled her on-line application form, though.

But Shittu is one among thousands of volunteers who have advocated for restoration of edit button back to the NPVN Portal.

The idea to reduce poverty and unemployment is under the Nigeria’s Government National Social Investment Programme (SIP), which houses N-Power programme and three others.

SIP programme is put under the Office of Vice President Yemi Osinbajo to manage,sip since the inception of the laudable project.

So, the Headquarters of N-Power is in domiciled in the office of Prof. Yemi Osinbajo.

We couldn’t authoritatively say the specific office of the vice president in Abuja, but we do know that his office is located in:Aso

Aso Rock Villa,
Abuja,
Nigeria.

Getting any closer to the gate of Aso Rock Villa on “lighter” issue like N-Power IS going to be impossible, unless you got official invitation from any of the heavyweights within the Villa, anyway.

Ordinarily, protocols demand that your Npower complaints pass through your State Focal Person.

What about State House?
The physical address of Osinbajo isn’t listed on State House official website. For security reasons, that’s understandable.

You must also note that: Office of Nigeria’s President is “officially” and “politically” referred to as STATE HOUSE. And the information of the State House is managed by another office: office of the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity.

As at May 30, 2017 (4AM), you can’t send e-mail to State House. It returned as “delivery error” because the receiver inbox was filled up .
So… Any other means of contacting the Office of Prof. Osinbajo?

If it was for that reason it shouldn't be restored as I noticed my bvn and date of birth was changed without my knowledge and I didn't use a cybercafe. I did advocate for it initially but for the aforementioned reason I support Npower on this.

If you have not receive alert for the month of May or you've not receive stipends at all, there is no course for alarm as payment is been done in batches. They are currently working on the unpaid beneficiaries. However, the fact that you are called by Npower agent doesn't automatically means you will be paid, there are some issues that are beyond Npower to resolve, such issues can only be resolve by the bank, if that is not done, then beneficiaries will not be paid. So we employ everyone in this category to be patient and allow Npower do the needful before they send their names to NIBSS for payment. This may take a while, but they will definitely be paid.
DEVICE COLLECTION
The device collection is still realistic, the information reaching us is that all is set for the collection of device, but the FG is organizing a meeting with all the NOA's to train all beneficiaries on how to use the device for the task which will be given to all beneficiaries through this medium. As soon as they are through with the meeting, everyone will be inform on how to go about the collection. of the device after or before the training.

June 13 N-power second phase: List of Nigerians who are not eligible for Npower Nigeria Job

As unemployed Nigerian youths warm up for the second phase of Npower on-line job application,NpowerNG Solutions takes a look at those who cannot apply on portal.npower.gov.ng when it starts to accept fresh applications come June 13, 2017
It's expected that the second phase will experience larger applications considering the fact that those who doubted the workability of the scheme have now seen the success it has recorded so far.

If you fall in any of the ineligible people below, you need not bother yourself, there are other Social Investment Programme (SIP)  you can favourably benefit from

1. Under 18

If you're still under 18 years old, you need not apply for Npower. 18 and above is considered the age when Nigerian can decisive action.

2. Over 35 years

Related to the above is the person who is considered over age for Npower job. Federal Government says the Npower Programme is designed for young Nigerian youths who are in dire need of job.

If you're 35+ by the time the portal opens for new applications, you need not bother yourself.

3. Successful Applicants (existing beneficiaries) of the first phase

Hello, please don't reapply in the second phase if you're still in the employ of the on-going npower first phase.

If you do, you will not be shortlisted, and you might loose your current status.
Even before that happens, you WILL be caught right on the day of application because your data is already in Npower database. If you changed your name, you can't change your BVN.
IF your changed your e-mail address and phone number, you can't change the name on your academic qualifications. If you forged your certificates you might be caught and presecuted.


4. Federal Government worker

If you're FG worker, I don't see any reason why you should be struggling to get Npower temporary job that pays #30,000 as monthly stipend.5. State Government worker

A measure has been put in place by Npower through the use of BVN to detect those who are already on the payroll on government.
Please leave npower job for those who currently don't have job.

6. Local Government Worker

Federal Government is aware of the fact that some LG workers might still want to apply for npower so as enjoy double salary.

Just as stated above, you'll be detected. Steer clear


7. Those who are serving jail terms (inmates) 

Inmates write JAMB/UTME. They do on-line courses, some of them are students at National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN)

But they can't apply for Npower job because of their status. They don't have total freedom.

8. Forged certificate

If you know that your certificate is forged, steer clear of npower job. The graduate programme of the scheme is meant for genuine people who went to school and graduated with genuine certificates.
The programme has been designed for all categories of people:graduates and non-graduates,  know the one that's applicable to you before you apply.

9. Certificate requirement 

N-Teach is meant for first degree holders, and NCE

N-Agro is for first degree holder, and those who have qualifications related to Agric, or those who have passion for agric coupled with your degree (even though isn't not an agric degree).

N-Health is for those who have health-related certificates.

If you have OND in Accounting, don't bother yourself applying for N-Health.©NpowerNG Solutions
