My friend seyi asked me to escort him to buy a phone at computer village..this guy is smart and intelligent and was the best science student at iponri estate senior high sch 2009 set and this happened in 2008... so we started our journey to ikeja from ojuelegba. we wanted a smart phone for less than 10k. we checked out a lot phones at different shops and road side seller but couldn't find that special phone until we met this guy who had a sharp nokia phone at a very cheap price. after checking the phone, we decided to pay him, but he insisted that we walk away to somewhere safer cos he doesn't want any police wahala and we agreed..so he took back the phone from us then we followed him like body guards and we were rejoicing that we got a smart phone for a very low price. we got under this bridge "a fly over" and was abt crossing when we heard a voice saying give me your money. my friend handed him the money and we got something shaped like a phone but wrapped with handkerchief. at the point of exchange, the guy told us not to open the phone in public until we got to a safe place. as we walked away from him to a less crowded area, we decided to check out the phone..My brothers and sisters u needed to see something worse than Budget Padding!! I was so shocked while my friend was speechless.could u imagine that this guy had wrapped a dead Nokia 3310 with his handkerchief for us?? we immediately started looking for him but couldn't find him so we went back to where we met him to complain to people there but nothing positive was coming out we just left ikeja goin back to ojuelegba..my friend begged me not to tell anybody at school lol at a point we looked at each other and burst into laughter it was really funny and at the same time annoying. 1 Like |
