It's nothing abstract or an imaginary construct in the context of todays Nigerian forex market. it's simply certain cabals doing this and fixing the rate for folks to align.Which doesn't happen anywhere in the world.
Thats why Ifeanyi Uba threatened to expose them and bring down the dollar.The threat alone reduced the rate of the dollar which shows something is wrong somewhere.

The Naira has depreciated further to N484 per dollar at the parallel market, NAIJ.com can report this Friday, December 2.

The currency weakened from N480 to N482, then further down to N484/$1 at the black market on Friday afternoon.

The local currency also crashed to N590 to a Pound from N585 and N510 for the Euro from N500.

It was because of his dullness that he did all that and still doing more. He said it himself that the economists are putting pressure on him to let the naira find it true value but he refused. It was when the stupidity of his action was too much even for him that he allowed Emefiele to start playing kolokolo with the naira/ dollars situation. if Emefiele had any honor, he would have resigned since but being a typical Nigeria, he rather lose his integrity that the small power his enjoys as the CBN governor.
