We are the people that easily tell you not to cite wikipedia in academic papers. We have our reasons: articles could be updated and may not contain the information you cited and it shows you are lazy as every subject can be found on Wikipedia.

However, wikipedia is not a bad source. This is no academic papers. Wikipedia would easily guide you to the true academic papers you wants at the bottom references. With wikipedia, you can understand background to your subject and can further your researches from there. That is what we advise our students to do.

I told you earlier that the fact that the word physician is used loosely and interchangeably (With Dr or medical practitioner) does not mean physician is not a specialty. You just don't want to learn. I understand, academics think they know it all. Well I have a B.Pharm (Nig), MS (USA), MSc (uk), MSc ( Nig), PGD.Epid (India).

If you are a good student or someone who wants to learn I told you earlier that even though the term physician is often used to refer to all doctors or medical practitioners, it not true in real sense. All Physicians are Specialists bt not all Specialists are Physicians.

Honestly, I think you have a comprehension problem or perhaps ego issues. A layman here simply means a non-professional in the field/specialty in context. e.g An engineer is a layman in the medical field and vice versa.

All doctors are physicians technically but doctors who have a speciality in internal medicine are more specifically called physicians.
In medical circles,when you say someone needs to see a physician,you are talking about a specialist in internal medicine.

I am sorry if my tone got you offended. It's not intended. You are still misquotting me. I never referred to internal medicine as the only physician specialist. He isn't on ur side. The same list or fields i mentioned are the ones he reinforced. Check the statement where he made emphasis on internal medicine (most times we refer to them as physicians in hospital settings), wic was Wat I meant too when I mentioned internal medicine.
Unlike u, u said everybody is a physician. I specifically asked him if he, a surgeon was a physician, he said no. Check the chat again. But you have since maintained that everybody is a physician.
I even said that all Physicians are Specialists but not all Specialists are Physicians. You still didn't agree with me.
I am a pharmacist (first degree), I've got three other MSc n a PGD. my elder bro n younger sister are Drs, my 1st cousin is a Dr, my bestman is a Dr, this my surgeon friend is a childhood friend now in d U.S. I currently work as an emergency response officer (on a team of 4 Drs, 2 nurses n myself). I won't jst be saying what I don't know.
