Dr. Adebayo Ogunlesi is a highly-successful investment banker and private equity tycoon. He is the son of Nigeria’s first Professor of Medicine, Emeritus Professor Theophilus Ogunlesi. Adebayo Ogunlesi is the chairman & Managing Partner of Global Infrastructure Partners. He is on the list of President-elect Donald Trump’s group of leading minds in business to provide their insights and opinions about jobs and the economy. Dr. Adebayo Ogunlesi is married to Dr. Amelia Quist-Ogunlesi, an optometrist in New York City.


Educated in London, she practised optometry there before moving to New York 23 years ago. She received the necessary credentials to practice in the United States from the SUNY College of Optometry. While studying at SUNY, she participated in an externship/residency program at Lighthouse International, which gave her firsthand knowledge of Lighthouse International’s programs and low vision practice. Dr. Quist-Ogunlesi is a trustee of the Studio Museum in Harlem and the New York City Parents In Action.
