Shame of a nation.

To think that it took Buhari 6months to come up with such characters says alot about who we have as president.

You know why this shameful attitude by sports officials persist? One, angry Nigerians can only bark and not bite! After this initial noise, Rivers election and xmas pursuits will divert attention starting tomorrow, Saturday. Two, no scape goat has been hammered by govt in recent years, so it will continue to be business as usual. If not, the under 23 show of shame at the last Olympics in Brazil by NFF and Sports Ministry should have made govt to SACK and JAIL some officials by now!! I rest my case.

Something tells me that why the Fed government is not even acting so bothered regarding this issue is because they had already given out the allowances and salaries for this girls and is just watching to see how it will end.

This sport people and embezzlement are like 5 and 6. Dem Don chop their money and Bubu just dey watch them like action film before e change am for them

I disagree with u. This Government is a very stingy government, they are so nonchalant and insensitive. This isn't d first time is happening, it happened during Brazil Olympic, mikel had to take care of all d team expenses. After all effort and Hardwork this girls put into d tournament. BuBu and Dalung refused to reward them. This country is a shame, it is not worth sacrificing and dying for. Nigeria is a Big joke under PMB.

Minister of Sports and Youth Development Solomon Dalung yesterday met with the victorious Super Falcons players over their unpaid allowances. He assured them that the government will meet all their entitlements.Below is what he said.....

'I had an amazing moment with our victorious super Falcons earlier today reassuring them of government's unreserved determination to meet all their entitlements within the shortest possible time.

I took out the time to rub minds with them as a father will do to his daughters just to enable us hear from each other which I also wade into other communication hiccups between them and the NFF.

We are not resting on our oars but doing the best we can to meet all their entitlements, that I assured'

I kept telling Nairalanders that d ulterior motive behind Data increase is stop and reduce number of critics of Buhari's Government online. By increasing d price it will discourage Nigerians from coming online

FG knows that social media is a very powerful.

Wait, how can a former Red beret wearing - Prison warden become Minister of Youth nd sports.
A Surgeon is Minister of works
grin grin grin grin grin grin

Minister of Agriculture is great grand father who was an author and a career politician.
Minister of Finance (Kemi) only knows how to speak like (British) James Bond grin grin, how did she get that job, probably through the other room

And people are asking why we are in Recession.

We are in recession because of the rampant profligacy that happened in the past; and you are suggesting that money should be doled out to the girls?! It's not everything that is all about money, the English National team do not get paid for playing at events. National pride is something that's lacking in the Nigerian culture, everything has been monetized.

A presidential handshake is enough for them, the country is in recession.

Surely these girls don't need an allowance to take a bath. Please do not lose your humanity and dignity because of some allowance. By all means, demand your allowance but be sure to retain your humanity all through the process. Allowances will come and go; humanity once lost, is gone for good.
Re: Unpaid Allowances: Dalung Meets Super Falcons Players (Pics) by Nobody: 11:56am On Dec 09, 2016
Monkey dey work Baboon dey chop

When these THIEVES say they travel to give the sports men and women moral support, they spend more than the total entitlement of the sports boys and girls put together. They board first Class, sleep in best hotels, give themselves outrageous travel allowance.

Nigeria a sorry state.

At bold, whose fault is that undecided
When you hear leaders quandering Billions yearly, u will definitely want to get your own share especially when you work for it.
Nigeria is not worth doing anything for, which pride, this useless political gathering.
Nigeria doesn't provide any for its citizens why will I have pride to suffer or die for the Country undecided I provide my light, my water, I just recently contributed 40k to one of my neighborhood to enable them Grade/repair the roads, can you send your kids to government owned primary school or Nursery grin, Abegiii

If I do anything for Nigeria, Nigeria must pay me for it....
British Government provides for their citizens, their citizens have pride for their government and Country.

BTW in reference to (We are in recession because of the rampant profligacy that happened in the past)

The present President is part of the past, 95% of his administration and appointments are part and parcel of the past..
So please tell me another version of the usual zombie APC story
