Please friends, I'll really appreciate if someone here can recommend a very competent gynaecologist or hospital in Port Harcourt or its environs, which can handle broken down episiotomy. One which has lasted for 5 months and has refused to heal.
This is an urgent plea for help as it affects a loved one. Anyone who has gone through such challenge can give suggestions.
Thank you and God bless.

I went through this. I had to have multiple antibiotic treatments and diflucan. Depending on a doctor's assessment, she may need to have it stitched again.

Hi Op, I'm just wondering what this person had been doing for 5 months for something as simple as broken down episiotomy. It's obvious she had her delivery in the wrong clinic or hospital.

Let her go to UPTH... University of PortHarcourt teaching hospital, they will assess it and give the right treatment.
