A rocket is needed to beat the gravitational pull/force of the earth. once in space the rocket disintegrates. anything in space floats and it will require less power than that used to enter to traverse the space.

International Space Stations are about 249-250 miles to the Earth, then compare it to Moon of about 238,900 miles.

Exosphere is at 435 miles away from Earth's surface, which means Space stations are still within Earth atmosphere.

What ever else you may have read to the contrary is pure BS. The conspiracy theories are all wrong. Apollo 11, 12, 14, 15, 16 and 17 all landed 2 of their 3 crew members on the Moon. All 6 of those crews walked around on the surface and explored for a day or more (only 6 hours for Apollo 11, but hey they were first and NASA was being conservative).

Apollo 15, 16 and 17 each had one of these to drive around in.
