Instead of investing in clean energy which is energy of the future, these clueless idiots in this administration are busy digging pipelines!

The land owners are also idiots too for rejoicing over a plan to have oil pipelines pass through their lands. When the pipes spills oil, they will realize what they did to themselves.

Have we finished refining our own crude oil?

This is like laying pipes from a stream to supply water to the sea. We're yet to refine our abundant crude oil, Mr president is thinking of laying pipelines from a neighbouring country to supply crude to KRPC for refining, a project that would gulp billions of dollars, money that would have being assigned to the repair and maintenance of our three major refineries.

Mr president, we need every available refinery for our crude oil, so we can at least cut down on the import of refined petroleum.

Enough of the nonsense from the creek terrorists, they can blow themselves into the pages of history if they like; for as long as the Kaduna refinery is in operation, then crude oil will be sourced from wherever.

Word is PH is currently suffering a serious bout of air pollution. If the militants and their misguided supporters prefer, they can destroy whatever is left of their ecosystem and local economy by forcing government, IOC's and private investors to abandon them to their violence.

All of this just to spite Buhari in Abuja who will continue to find ways to effectively contain their excesses. I've never come across a more stupid set of people in my entire life.
Correct. I have always asked, in what way is bombing pipelines helping the Niger delta? FG can easily lay pipeline to Niger to feed kaduna refinery. Security of the pipeline is less an issue - the terrain is flat and semi-desert, and with modern technology the pipeline can be laid at considerable depths, with sensors and drones monitoring 24/7.

This is not a smart move for the North in the long run. The Niger delta nonsense would be a child's play compared to the one that would happen there. In fact, this would give ISIS and their Boko partners another template to fund their caliphate dreams. A template already in use in Northern Iraq and Syria.

Islamic insurgency + oil = ?

Untrue. Proceeds from solid mineral mining are channeled to the center and shared to all states.

The oil from the Niger delta has also fed the people fromthat region. And if they had been electing normal, sane leaders, that zone would have been one of the best developed in Nigeria.

This pipeline is a great idea. Those condemning it are people with limited imagination and a dearth of common sense.

Buhari's administration has been utter shite so far, but sometimes they manage to take the right decision.

The stats are available to you if you really want them, I'm sure you don't expect me to do the research for you. The fact remains that all regions and states have been dependent on Nigerian crude oil found in the delta since then, and this is due to plain misgovernance.

If you want people to be sensitive to your plight, you take the first step.

Actually this is quite brilliant, I'm sure you didn't expect that the Kaduna refinery would be allowed to be starved of crude oil just because some ragtag criminals learnt to play with dynamite thinking they can blackmail this government.
