It doesn’t matters little if MMM goes under or even grows bigger. It is a pointer to our level of low as a people.
We complain about Nigeria from morning till night, Monday to Sunday, January to December. We want Nigeria to be good, but we have to address the right problems and these are, from what we have seen in recent years, are apparently NOT corruption (a stem and not the root), NO NOT leadership ( a branch quite a distance from the root), but is actually our VALUE SYSTEM as a people.

You will observe that it is the same people with these same twisted values who produce the same corrupt and inept leaders, and the same people keep reinventing newer levels of impunity and mind-boggling corruption.
While you are free to call out the foolish leaders and their acts of corruption, let us be free to call out the root of it all: our lack of understanding of value offering and value exchange!
For heaven’s sake, WHO makes money that is linked to ZERO productivity? ..and cares less where the money is coming from or whose loss will be his/her win? This mindset of anyhow profit is worse than the incompetence of your governor. The greed is well the same. The opportunities only have different names.

VALUE SYSTEM.jpg
The bank CEOs who profited from failed banks were dragged to courts and cursed out by most if not all of us. Little did we know millions of Nigerians were just waiting for their little opportunity to do the exact same. Enters MMM, and we all go to town with it.All these fellows knew there will be losses, but were content as long as they felt it wasn’t gonna be them losing.

It is foolishness and it is the root of our national predicament.
The ongoing mockery might feel insensitive, but let it sound a note to the average Nigerian that there is NO TRUE PROFIT without TRUE
PRODUCTIVITY.

And please don’t play the sympathy card of ‘situations and limited options’ …. it is the age long excuse people have given for thefts, for internet scams, for sms scams, 419er and all manner.

Same excuse some entity would give for helping himself to the valuables of accident victims before (if at all) he offers ‘help’.

Sadly help now has different meanings in our national lexicon, thanks to MMM.
This is way beyond profit vs loss, my money vs your money and such shallow banter, this for some of us is about the soul of our nation! And all that gloating has it’s place as a pointer to our sickeningly flawed values. Let those gloating gloat abeg. Let a bit of common sense standard be set… at least for another 2 decades.
