Special Government Announcement

Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, hereby invite executive members of the following associations and individuals to a crucial meeting with him on Monday, 19th December 2016, at the Exco chambers of Government House Umuahia at 11am.

1. Chairman, Nigerian union of teachers, Abia State Chapter
2. Chairman, Nigerian Labour Congress, Abia State Chapter.
3. Chairman, Pensioners Association of Nigeria, Abia State chapter
4. Chairman, Joint Negotiating Council, Abia State chapter

Also invited to the meeting are the Commissioner for Finance, Commissioner for Education, Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Secretary to State Government and Chairman of the state civil service Commission.

The meeting is expected to finalize arrangements for payment of outstanding pensions and salaries of pensioners and workers.

This guy should go and sit down. Did you call any meeting before you started owing them? And i know just like his fellow wicked salary owing governors, he will bring up the issue of verification which will take time to conclude. And the op is sounding as if its a dividend of democracy

He is clearing the mess of created by you and your likes who didn't deem it fit to pay workers and pensioners when they were governors. Government is transient, Dr Okezie inherited all the mess and debt and he is ready to pay.
