which one is "its different from powerbank" but yet it functions as a powerbank? this is a pass through powerbank design where the power bank can charge itself and also charge other devices at the sametime. biko they should jst tell us its a powerbank

These kind of innovations are not new,a power bank is known to everyone but this is still really impressive,considering power state in Nigeria,These kids will have to work hard to revolutionise electricity storage in power banks.America and other developed countries have no time to make a 20,000mAh power bank.The hassle is left for [b]us[\b]

oh wow my kinda news... Dancing shoki! For those asking is it not power bank? Please go up and reread the interview only pay closer attention this time.

I'm sure when the first mobile phone came with a camera, people were asking, is it not just a camera? Today having a box camera is obsolete and you only see mobile phone cameras. A mobile phone charger is a welcome idea which I believe every mobile phone will soon have. Very big kudos to the school and long may they continue this trend

Its a good way of teaching the students electronics, but its not like an innovation or anything...

Inventions don't even have to be sophisticated, just new and creative, those that follow tech insider on facebook know what I'm talking about

Ah ah, na power bank naa or what is the difference?
You charge power Bank separately. But this innovation combines functions of power bank and phone charger together. Therefore, you can charge your phone and this device together without waiting for one to fully charge before charging the other, Knowing very well that NEPA can take light any time . Secondly, you don't have to carry two phone chargers for power bank and your phone. Finally, looking for extra socket to plug different chargers will be thing of the past. Get it?

Oga a few years ago, people asked why have a camera incorporated into a mobile phone? Today mobile phone brands use the quality of their camera as a very strong marketing tool.
You have money to buy power bank seperately, others may not have. And if all mobile devices have rechargeable chargers, those who don't have the money for power bank won't be left out. The world is now becoming more global and the needs of every sect of society is considered these days, thats why a man like Mark Zukerberg will be looking to provide free internet for a continent like Africa, so that browsing is no longer a luxury meant for the rich alone.

What if your power bank is drained already. It will have to charge itself before passing charges to the phone. I think its a local solution to a local problem and coming from the country (Nigeria) -whose citizens look abroad for almost everything - Deserves commendations. Don't you think?
