Nigerians are all looking forward to the next year for various reasons after a recession filled year 2016. But it won't be far-fetched to say that Jan 14, 2017 would be a remarkable or ugly date .

A date when husbands will either beat their wives up or swallow their pride and eat their words in disdain

A date when friends and foe are patiently waiting for to trade blows

A date when the financial institutions will either triumph in the boxing ring or be dealt a heavy blow by the masses

A date when members of churches would attack their pastors or eat the humble pie

A date when followers will kick their leader's ass or plead for forgiveness

A date when landlords will serve their tenants quit notice or stylishly laud their tenants as God-sent

A date when Men will smile or weep like gnomes

A date when Nigerians will Judge themselves like never before

A date when the banks will have the last laugh or whimper


A whole lot of Nigerians thinking already I'm sure you know what could be on the minds of your husband, wife, boss, aunt, uncle, cousin, friend, pastor, Imam, the government, haters lol... I hope it all turns out to be positive anyway .
