The rate of jungle justice now adays is very alarming. I know the police aren't reliable but it shouldn't be to the extent of taking one'§ life, u guys can do anything u wanna do with the culprit but simply spare their lives by handing them over to the law enforcement Agency. That ur stuborn brother can be framed one day....because u r used to doing this to victims caught. U won't have any other option than to also feel the pains too.

I don't know what is wrong with Benue people like I always advice my friend I met during my service year that their people lack vision, innovation, idea they just see free food every where n eat sleep steal people properties now they have killed an innocent criminal while Gabriel Suswam is walking freely they man that suck them dry and put them in debts.

A burnt body was spotted this morning along Akawe Torkula College of Advanced and Professional Studies, Makurdi road after Masco Agro Allied Industries building in Benue state. Online reports have it that the victim was a suspect who was caught in the act of snatching a motorcycle. He was reportedly mobbed to death by some Okada riders and other angry residents.

Good for him if he actually committed the crime.

Say yes to Jungle Justice (JJ) in a lawless society like Nigeria.

if this is true.then Nigeria is a joke.even if he was caught stealing money from CBN or from the presidents room, that doesn't still warrant his end just like did dastardadly act.d worst is dat the useless mob who steal everyday and might knowingly or unknowingly take sth DAT is not theirs will rush and involve in jungle justice.the difference btw d western world and Africa is orientation.most times I seem to subscribe totally to d idea that Europeans were created to be better Dan blacks

Akume is no different,Ortom as well.
they are all thieves.Ortom just happens to be the better devil cause he doesn't intimidate benue citizens with thugs and he's kind of responsible(doesn't waste time drinking and messing around with bsu girls)
But a spade should be called a spade, suswam's administration brought more development to Benue state than any other governor since aper aku full stop.

I've seen enough graphic pictures of dead bodies killed by some form of violent end to know life is very cheap in Nigeria.

In as much as I condemn the said act by the victim, I detest the jungle justice system melted out on him! Pls, let's learn to handover such people to the right authorities, even if we feel nothing will be done about it! It's not in our place to kill people in such an inhumane manner! At least, person wey one die should die with less pain! Haba! This is crude and archaic.

You don't know if he was actually guilty if there is no trial. How could you? Maybe he was a victim instead a culprit. Jungle justice isn't civilized. Ase.

This IS NOT lynched. You lynch someone when you put a rope through his neck and 'hustle' him up a tree

In the West....don't they put people to death for crimes they never even committed?....especially Black people?.... and don't they poison or electrocute them?... ... so what is the difference in the orientation?
