Thank you...some are so full of hate that even if the government does a good deed they would speak evil of it. I'm not surprised even Jesus was criticized badly. Big ups!

Nigerian politicians are really funny; they know how to distract Nigerians, rice is now the national development projects our governors and FG should have focused on, chai cry cry
With negative thinking people like you, Nigeria will never grow... will never move forward!
people like you never see good in good things... always criticizing!
so what if rice is "the national development project"?( whatever that means)

We are so used to being played and deceived by politicians and government as it were that whenever they do they their job as "government" we worship them.

And when somebody like myself show any anti-sycophantic view and remind them they are NOT doing anybody any favours we are labelled ungrateful. For pete sake this is the same rice that was sold for 9k and some dunce will thank a governor for providing it at 12k just a year after. And in 2019 it becomes a campaign slogan - Provision of subsidised LAKE rice

That is how low our conditioned psyche as a country is!

I give up

It's not about giving praises, it's about appreciation. And YES if a government is appreciated for doing his job diligently, it's okay to appreciate their effort. Simply because they are voted in to serve us does not mean they should not be appreciated.

They are humans too and not robots, they deserve our appreciation. They are not slaves, and even slaves deserve appreciation.

And to the rice in question, it's appreciated because it's our own, produced from our soil on our land until proven otherwise which am sure you don't have your facts to prove it not been ours. For the price, if we buy our made in Nigeria rice higher than imported commodity, i'll say it's a plus to our economy. For God sake, when are we goin to stop this over dependence on imported goods mentality?

Someone will come and say it's not quality, pls how do you judge quality? The ones you call quality that are imported, are they from Mars or another planet. If our products are not quality yet and you refuse to patronize them, when are we going to improve to make them the quality ones.

When we don't patronize our made in Nigeria goods, how do we encourage self-employment, hardwork, self dependence, self fufillment, grown economy and other good tidings of the act.

We have a long way to go if we keep sitting in a corner and misleading and derailing paths to good and a brighter future.

Efforts, brains, creativities and ideas invested in this lots should be channeled to ones that'll add to the greatness of the country. It'll help the country, our community and ourelves a great deal.

Our country will be great again.

God bless Nigeria.

that's if only these politicians are indeed producing these rice in Nigeria because I don't trust Nigerian politicians at all, they can do anything to win re-election angry

How are they producing rice when Fulani herdsmen can't allow local farmers to go to their farms in peace, how

Rice is cultivated in remote villages, and these remote villages are the main target of Fulani herdsmen, and these governors and the FG aren't doing much to protect these vulnerable farmers, so all these their rice production is a hoax, take it or leave it, you won't see all these rice after 2019, bookmark this page angry

And you've been all around the country to ascertain the fact that the rice production in the country is not real I suggest.

You really don't need to trust the politicians based on past experience, but I urge you to create a space in your heart cos whether you like it or not, if not you, it'll be ur relative that'll occupy that position, and when the time comes, am sure you'll be forced to believe.

Just saying!!!

this is good but don't say it is cheap at the rate of N12000

because I bought a bag of unprocessed rice at the rate of N12000, do the processing for N500 and I got exactly 2bags of rice from it, so don't tell me it is cheap

And you are sure it's unprocessed? Have you bought yours? How do you know?

Suit your supposed optimistic self!!

Yeah, queue up to buy from government until it reaches the larger market.

Then if after sometimes and it doesn't fill the market, you are allowed to complain more than this.

Thank you!
