Please i would need advise, I just bought a black berry phone 9700 the phone is lock to tmobile, but i just unlocked the phone, and i want to send it to nigeria, i was just wondering, do unlock blackberry work with nigeria phone network.

yes it will as long as it has been unlocked, the 9700 is a quad-band device meaning it works on all the GSM frequencies all over the world.

It will work, but if it has ever been used with the Blackberry service it has to 'un pinned' otherwise the user will not be able to use blackberry services including email, bb pin, etc

HOW DO YOU UNPIN THEM? DOES IT MEAN THEY ARE PINNED TO THEIR OLD NETWORK EVEN AFTER UNLOCKING THEM? I ALSO MET SOME US USED BB ON EBAY SUCH AS 9630 BUT I THOUGHT I MIGHT HAVE PROBLEM USING THEM ON BIS ON NAIJA NETWORKS

Once unlocked the mobile will work with any network, but there is a chance of getting locked again if there is a software update... as I had a bad experience once, in that case I unlocked my mobile second time from SuperUnlockCodes.com where they helped me unlocking it permanently..
