Woman spends 1,250 pounds on dogs for Christmas gifts. Vikki Jose, the woman who spent N.4m on her dogs has admitted that she spent more money on her dogs this Christmas than her boyfriend.

The 26 year old woman, lavishes money her ‘furry babies’, four-year-old Labrador, Harvey; and two-year-old Bichon Frise, Lola, during festive seasons.

She said she love the way she spends on her dogs than her boyfriend(reason unknown) as she spends 1,250 pounds this Christmas on her two dogs up to the worth of N.4m.

The spoilt pooches even have their own Christmas wish list for Saint Nicholas (Santa Claus), as well as personalised stockings and advent calendars with doggy treats inside.

The owner of the dogs, Vikki, of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne, has spent over £10,000 on her cherised dogs over the last four years.

And she happily admits to spending more on her mutts than her boyfriend of three years, Jack Cassidy, a 26 year old car body painter.

The healthcare assistant says: “My friends and family think I’ve gone nuts when it comes totaking care of my dogs. But I don’t see them as dogs, I see them as humans stuck in dogs’ bodies.”

“To me, they are my children and the most special thing in my life. At the end of the month, if I have £100 left, I’ll go out and buy them loads of toys. They give me so much unconditional love and there’s no feeling like it.”

Vikki, who lives at home with her mum, Amanda Jose, 50, a kitchen assistant and dad, Ian, 54, a construction worker, has started piling up on Christmas gifts for her pooches since September resulting to spending 1,250 Pounds on the dogs this Christmas.

Incredibly, Vikki has splashed 1,250 Pounds on the dogs for Christmas gifts, compared to 700 Pounds spent on her boyfriend.

This year she has bought 100 presents for her dogs, including loads of soft toys, clothes, blankets,new collars, cushions, treats, and leads.

Vikki says:

“Seeing their faces light up when I give them a new toy or treat is worth every moment. People spend thousands on their children at Christmas, so why not a pet? Harvey and Lola are like my children, so I don’t see the difference.”

On Christmas morning, the cute dogs usually begin their day by opening the last window of their advent calendars and then enjoy a breakfast feast of sardines and rice.

Afterwards, the pair are presented with a mound of wrapped gifts under the tree.

While the Jose family sit down together and enjoy a hearty Christmas meal, Harvey and Lola tuck into their own mini turkey dinner with all the trimmings, followed by a special pet-friendly Christmas pudding.
