EPILOGUE
* Three months later *
The ladies gasped in amazement and delight as they caught sight of Violet coming out of the dressing room wearing her pale pink wedding gown which molded to her curves and her hair was decorated with a pink tiara. "Wow! You look beautiful Violet. The dress really fits you perfectly." Clara exclaimed as she moved closer to Violet to give her a deep hug. "I can't believe this day is finally here! My wedding day and I'm not feeling nervous at all." Violet chattered excitedly to the women who sat comfortably on the couch in the bride's room. Violet laughed whole-heartedly and swirled around in her wedding gown with Natalia chiming in laughingly "take it easy Violet. You shouldn't be jumping around like this, James would be furious with you if he sees you stressing yourself and the baby." They all laughed and smiled dearly at Violet. The door opened to reaveal Mary with Lilian, Voilet's mother bringing with them a bucket of champagne and some glasses. "Hello ladies, we brought something to perk up the spirit and drink to the bride." Mary said as she and Lilian settled in with the women, the drink was poured to everyone's glasses with Lilian saying "Violet honey, you're just going to take a little sip out of this champagne but we brought some sparkling water for you." Mary stood up to make a toast brandishing her glass up high "To you, Violet our beautiful bride and to we all who didn't give up on our love." They all whooped and clinked their glasses together before drinking heartily from their drinks. A knocked sounded on the door with a woman informing them that it remained ten minutes before the bride walks in. They all scrambled to their feet to go out and take their places giving Violet deep hugs as they went out of the room leaving Violet and her mother to remain. "I'm so very happy for today.I'm proud of you baby." Lilian said to her daughter as she lifted her hands to stroke her daughter's cheek with tears threatening to fall from both of their eyes. "Oh mom, I'm so very thankful for you being my mother, I couldn't have been to this stage without you. I love you mom." Violet declared with tears clogging her throat. "Oh my baby, I love you too. You and your siblings have always been and still will be my treasure." Her mother replied with tears. "Oh look how we've both botched our faces with tears." Violet said laughingly as she sniffed back her tears and allowed her mother to use a tissue to clean her wet face, thankfully for them it was a water proof makeup. "Let's go down to the church, I'm sure your father must be waiting impatiently tugging down his tie." Her mother said and they both went out of the room walking hand in hand to the church entrance where Violet's father stood fidgeting and tugging his perfectly made up tie making both mother and daughter smile knowingly at each other. Lilian kissed her husband on the cheek dearly and perfected his tie ordering him to stay put and not look like running away out of his own daughter's wedding. Violet hugged her father dearly to calm him down from his nervousness and kissed him on the cheek. "Stop fidgeting father, I'm the one who's going to be married not you." She chided him with a teasing look. "I'm trying really hard honey, I just can't get it past me that my baby girl is all grown up and getting married." He said looking down dearly at her. "I'm still your baby girl dad, and another baby is coming that would keep you up your toes and love you dearly as I do." Violet said softly to her father making him smile. "I love you babygirl." Paul Lorde declared to his daughter hugging her deeply. The wedding march started with the music playing the bridal march and the church door opening widely to people peering down their backs to see the bride and the father of the bride come in and walk to the pulpit. Violet gripped her father's hand in support as they both walked down to the aisle with Violet smiling broadly to familiar faces, winking to the staffs of the London Kevlar office, blowing a kiss to her siblings who sat at the second row while her mother with Mary, Kelvin and Valeria sitting at the first row, she smiled at them and looked up to look in the eyes of loving spouse. Violet's father handed Violet to James who took her hands and kissed them before facing the minister who was smiling down at the two beautiful couple.
"....... I now pronounce you man and wife.You may now kiss the bride." The officiating minister announced which brought James to cup the face of his new wife and kiss her deeply earning a cheer from the guests. "Mine. You're now mine." James said softly to Violet as he broke the kiss making Violet blush. Mary and Lilian cried hard with their husbands shoving them their handkerchiefs while the groomsmen and bridesmaids which consisted of the remaining Kevlar couples hugged each other entwining their fingers together. The new couple were ushered out of the church to the waiting Limo which was to carry them to the Kevlar mansion where the reception was being held.
The reception was in full swing as the newly wedded couples were seated smiling happily to their guests. Alan was called out to give a toast to the new couple, making everyone laugh as he talked about the silly things he and James had done then he raised up his filled glass and gave a toast to the new couple. "I can't wait to get out of here." James whispered to Violet's ear making her laugh softly. "Me too, but we can't leave our own wedding reception. Our mothers would disown us and I'm enjoying myself immensely." She whispered back which made James sigh in defeat. Mary grinned with satisfaction as she surveyed the event. She was so much brimming with happiness that she thinks she'll bust with it. None of her children knew that she was the one who hooked them up with their spouses. She rubbed her hands in glee as she thought back to where she met Violet in Raven's store at London when she went for a brief visit. She was pleased with Violet's interaction with the sales rep as they talked about some designs she ordered for. Mary then asked her dear friend Raven about Violet who told her about Violet's work. It wasn't a coincidence that Violet was recommended to James for decoration, it was a well planned event though Mary wasn't sure that James would fall for her but she was hopeful enough. Mary sighed in pleasure as she thought about how she brought Natalia and Giovani together after she hired a private investigator to find out who Natalia's pregnancy was for. It had been entertaining and rewarding as she thought about her machinations and how her three children found love and happiness with their spouses. Her gaze roamed to where her handsome husband mingle with guests and she smiled dearly. She and Kelvin had really struggled a great deal to reach what they were today, of course they had their fights but their love was always there to overcome any fights. Her love for her husband hadn't diminish not ever and she hope and pray it stays like that also with her dear children's love. The music changed and it was time for the new couple to dance on the dancefloor. Mary sniffed back the tears that was coming as she watched James and Violet look into each other's eyes with love shining in both of them. She walked over to where her husband stood and gripped his hands dearly.
"I so much love dancing with you, Mrs Kevlar" James said softly to Violet's ear as they swayed slowly to the music. "Same here, Mr Kevlar. Today has been magical for me." Violet anwered as she placed her head on her husband's chest. They danced in a comfortable silence closing their eyes to feel their rhythm and didn't know when other couples joined them on the floor till Natalia tapped them as she danced with her husband. James and Violet smiled at them as they acknowledged their presence. Natalia sighed in pleasure as she danced with her husband, sometimes she still couldn't believe that the wonderful man holding her in his arms is her husband Giovani, he had soften up from being a dark and menancing man to a loving father and husband. "I'm so glad you're mine, cara mia. I thank God everyday for giving me a wonderful woman like you. You brought sunshine to my life, Thomas and Sophia couldn't have asked for a better mother, mi tesoro. Giovani confessed softly to Natalia as they danced with Natalia trying hard not to cry. "You just read my thougths out loud, my love. I'm one of the luckiest woman alive to have you as mine. I love you so much Giovani Ricci." She declared with tears running down her eyes. "Hush mi amor, don't cry. I love you too Natalia Ricci and I'll always love you." He said softly and kissed her softly right on the dancefloor. Clara was taking some fresh air outside the terrace and smiled when a hand rounded her waist bringing her close to the male body of her husband. She turned around and hooked her arm round the neck of Alan nuzzling her nose to his neck. "Stop teasing me, witch." He said, laughing softly as she placed tiny kisses on his neck. "Witch uhn?" She asked silkenly. "Yeah, a witch that's what you are. You casted a spell on me to make me love you." He replied running his hands round her back. "How fortunate, and I thought you were the wizard. Because ever since I first saw you, my heart started racing and you made me fall head over heels for you." She answered as she looked into the loving bluegreen eyes of her husband. "I fell in love with you too, you intrigue me and made me want you even with you wearing granny clothes and tortoise shell glasses. Your voice only brings me down to my knees." He grinned as he remembered Clara in drab clothings making her roll her eyes in amusement. " You make me happy baby, I feel fulfiled everytime I see you with our daughter. I'm very thankful my love. I promise to keep on loving you, never to let go." Alan affirmed as he buried his face into Clara's hair holding her on to him so tight. Clara laughed shakily bringing up Alan's face to kiss him deeply. "I love you too Alan, I'm happy. We're happy." She said softly to him. "Let's go dance, I have this wish of dancing with sexy librarians." Alan said twirling Clara in his arms making her laugh out oud before they entered back into the reception. Mary and Kelvin danced with complete harmony, with Kelvin kissing her sofly on the forehead making her sigh in pleasure. "I'm so happy for us Kelvin, Look at us, our children and their loved ones." Mary said to her husband as she saw her children with their spouses dancing. "I know, sweetheart. They are lucky just like us. I pray their love lasts justs like ours. It is fulfilling to see our children having a loving family." He sighed and hugged his wife then he kissed her deeply. "I love you Mary Kevlar. I won't get tired of saying it." He declared to her watching her blush red with happiness. "I love you too, Kelvin Kevlar. Kiss me again." She answered making her husband laugh out loud then he kissed her with flourish making the guests and family members to cheer them and hoot with laughter. The Kevlar siblings held their partners close as they smiled and laughed happily at their parent's show of love hoping that one day, they too would grow old and still love their partners fiercely.
