First of all, these prophets aren't real men of God. A man of God don't show himself, a real man of God is hard to find. And 2ndly, God is yet to reveal himself to me. I'm not gonna lose faith.

Some people don't understand the power of prayers. Prophecies are prior notifications! Prayers can reverse or correct it!

Understanding Prophetic Fulfillment (All quoted scripture comes from the New American Standard Bible [NASB]) Thomas S. Gibson Students of prophecy, both modern and Biblical, watch for the fulfillment of the various prophecies of God. But do we really understand how these prophecies are fulfilled? What I wish to do in this article is to look at the Biblical fulfillment of prophecies, including what the Word says about conditional prophecies , to gain a full understanding from God’s perspective. Since I have used the term “ conditional prophecies ” in the last paragraph I need to explain what I mean by it. A conditional prophecy simply does not happen unless certain conditions apply; or will only happen if certain circumstances occur. For example, if a prophecy stated that a certain judgment would occur if the people do not repent, and then repentance takes place, then this prophecy would not happen. This would not mean a failure of the prophecy, but rather that the conditions for the fulfillment were not met. There is another aspect of the fulfillment that also needs to be addressed. It is this that I wish to look at first. After which I will come back to deal with the conditional type of prophecy. When a prophecy is fulfilled in front of our eyes would we recognized it? Would we be able to say, “Yes, I can see this prophecy being fulfilled now?” Of course, there are many circumstances in which we would be able to say this. But I wish to point out that many prophecies are not fulfilled in such a simple context. Many are fulfilled in strange and unpredictable ways. Indeed, as I will point out below, the revealed prophecies of God rarely give us enough information to understand the circumstances of how it will be fulfilled. Look first at these Messianic prophecies from the Old Testament Scriptures and compare them to how they were fulfilled in the New Testament. 3 A voice is called, “Clear the Way for the Lord in the wilderness; Make smooth in the desert a highway for our God. Isaiah 40:3 ----- 1 Now in those days John the Baptist came, preaching in the wilderness of Judea, saying, 2 “Repent for the Kingdom of heaven is at hand.” 3 For this is the one referred to by Isaiah the prophet, saying, “The voice of one crying in the wilderness, ‘Make ready the way of the Lord, Make His paths straight!’” Matthew 3:1-3 Now we understand that the quote from Isaiah is a reference to John the Baptist preparing the way for the Messiah. However, if you did not have the New Testament to confirm that this indeed referred to John the Baptist and Jesus, how would you understand the way in which it would be fulfilled? It is very clear that until it is quoted in the New Testament people did not have an understanding of what it meant or how it would come to pass. Another example from Jeremiah: 15 Thus says the Lord, “A voice is heard in Ramah, Lamentation and bitter weeping. Rachel is weeping for her children; She refused to be comforted for her children, Because they are no more.” Jeremiah 31:15 ----- 16 Then when Herod saw that he had been tricked by the magi, he became very enraged, and went and slew all the male children who were in Bethlehem and all its environs, from two years old and under, according to the time which he had ascertained from the magi. 17 Then that which was spoken through Jeremiah the prophet was fulfilled, saying, 18 “A voice was heard in Ramah, Weeping and great morning, Rachel weeping for her children; And she refused to be comforted, Because they were no more .” Matthew 2:16-18 The circumstances that surrounded this sad fulfillment were not clear until it actually took place. While we can determine that the children were killed, we cannot know how or when this would come to pass. Another example from the prophet Isaiah makes the difficultly in understanding prophetic fulfillment even more clear. 1 But there will be no more gloom for her who was in anguish; in earlier times He treated the land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali with contempt, but later on He shall make it glorious, by the way of the sea, on the other side of Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles. 2 The people who walk in darkness Will see a great light; Those who live in a dark land, The light will shine on them. Isaiah 9:1-2 ----- 12 Now when He [Jesus] heard that John had been taken into custody, He withdrew into Galilee; 13 and leaving Nazareth, He came and settled in Capernaum, which is by the sea, in the region of Zebulun and Naphtali. 14 This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet saying, 15 “The Land of Zebulun and the land of Naphtali, By way of the sea, Beyond the Jordan, Galilee of the Gentiles–– 16 “The people who were sitting in darkness saw a great light, And to those who were sitting in the land and shadow of death, Upon them a light dawned. Matthew 4:12-16 As we look at the prophecy in Isaiah it is beyond the understanding provided to see the meaning of the passage. It would be impossible for someone who was not familiar with the fulfillment in the New Testament to explain what the meaning is, or under what circumstances it would be fulfilled. There is no indication that this is a reference to the movements of the Messiah. One last example that I will use is found in Psalms. 2 I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter dark sayings of old, Psalms 78:2 ----- 34 All these things Jesus spoke to the multitudes in parables, and He did not speak to them without a parable, 35 so that what was spoken through the prophet might be fulfilled, saying, “I will open My mouth in parables; I will utter things hidden since the foundation of the world.” Matthew 13:34-35 We find this prophecy in Psalms does not mention the Messiah. Indeed there is no indication that this is even a prophecy. The statement in Psalms leaves the reader with no clue as to its meaning. Such is the situation with respect to many of the various prophecies concerning Jesus’ first coming. They are fulfilled in every way. But they also give only part of the facts of their fulfillment. They are a small part of the overall view. When we read a prophecy it is dangerous to assume that we can understand exactly how it will be fulfilled and the facts that may surround it. Many prophecies in the Word of God are similar to this. Even prophecy today has this aspect to it. God reveals only parts of the picture of what is to come. It is only by perfect hindsight that we can properly understand the full meaning of any given prophecy. Much of the reason for this lies in the fact that we are to walk by faith, not by sight (II Corinthians 5:7). If we were to know all the facts of what is to come, we would try and figure out how to walk through the circumstances with our own flesh; rather than to walk by faith, by the leading of the Holy Spirit , and in the protection of our God. To understand prophetic fulfillment even more completely we need to look at conditional prophecies. 10 “Now as for you, son of man, say to the house of Israel, ‘Thus you have spoken, saying, “Surely our transgressions and our sins are upon us, and we are rotting away in them; how then can we survive?”’ 11 “Say to them, ‘As I live!’ declares the Lord God, ‘I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked, but rather that the wicked turn from his way and live . Turn back, turn back from your evil ways! Why then will you die, O house of Israel?’ 12 “And you, son of man, say to your fellow citizens, ‘The righteousness of a righteous man will not deliver him in the day of his transgression, and as for the wickedness of the wicked, he will not stumble because of it in the day when he turns from his wickedness; whereas a righteous man will not be able to live by his righteousness on the day when he commits sin.’ 13 “ When I say to the righteous he will surely live, and he so trusts in his righteousness that he commits iniquity, none of his righteous deeds will be remembered; but in that same iniquity of his which he has committed he will die . 14 “But when I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness , 15 if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity, he will surely live; he shall not die . 16 “None of his sins that he has committed will be remember against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he will surely live. Ezekiel 33:10-16 This is quite a passage of Scripture! The prophet Ezekiel has had God outline to him the method in which He handles judgmental prophecies and whether they will be fulfilled or not . That is correct! Not all judgments of God are carried out . There are always conditions even if it is not specifically stated within the prophecy. If a man or a nation repents, the judgments that God has proclaimed against them will not be carried out. This is an important revelation of how fair God is, and even more important to understanding why some judgments of God are not carried out when there is true repentance from the heart. We find an example of this in the book of Jonah. 1 Now the word of the Lord came to Jonah the second time, saying, 2 “Arise, go to Nineveh the great city and proclaim to it the proclamation which I am going to tell you.” 3 So Jonah arose and went to Nineveh according to the word of the Lord. Now Nineveh was an exceedingly great city, a three days walk. 4 Then Jonah began to go through the city one day’s walk; and he cried out and said, “ Yet forty days and Nineveh will be overthrown .” 5 Then the people of Nineveh believed in God; and they called a fast and put on sackcloth from the greatest to the least of them . 6 When the word reached the king of Nineveh, he arose from his throne, laid aside his robe from him, covered himself with sackcloth, and sat on the ashes. 7 And he issued a proclamation and it said, “In Nineveh by the decree of the king and his nobles: Do not let man, beast, herd, or flock taste a thing. Do not let them eat or drink water. 8 “But both man and beast must be covered with sackcloth; and let men call on God earnestly that each may turn from his wicked way and from the violence which is in his hands. 9 “Who knows, God may turn and relent, and withdraw His burning anger so that we shall not perish?” 10 When God saw their deeds, that they turned from their wicked way, then God relented concerning the calamity which He had declared He would bring upon them. And he did not do it . Jonah 3:1-10 As we look at the prophecy found in verse 4 we see that there are no conditions stated where this would not occur. But even though there were no conditions within the prophecy for them to repent of their sins and God would spare them; they nevertheless went ahead with repentance because they had nothing to lose. They clearly believed the prophecy and wanted to turn back to God no matter what would happen. Remember what was stated in Ezekiel: 14 “But when I say to the wicked, ‘You will surely die,’ and he turns from his sin and practices justice and righteousness, 15 if a wicked man restores a pledge, pays back what he has taken by robbery, walks by the statutes which ensure life without committing iniquity, he will surely live; he shall not die . 16 “None of his sins that he has committed will be remember against him. He has practiced justice and righteousness; he will surely live. Ezekiel 33:14-16 So, therefore, no one who has committed evil, when he repents, can be judged. God therefore, turned away from the judgments that He had prophesied on Nineveh because they repented from the heart and turned away from the sin which they had committed. In understanding the fulfillment of any given prophecy we must take into account that we will not be able to have knowledge of all the facts concerning its completion. It is only in hindsight that we gain full knowledge to its meaning. Remember that judgmental prophecies have for their purpose to bring people to repentance. Once that repentance comes there is no need for the judgments. Even when the judgments do come they tend to be drawn out over time by God to give the people more time to repent. God is slow to anger. But it is sure that the anger will come if the sin is continued . It is only when repentance does not come that the judgments will be brought down upon us from on high. Before we claim to understand what God is saying we need to realize that God sees this from an entirely different view that we do. He sometimes deliberately holds back information so that we do not have all the facts. This results in our having to live by faith and in daily direction from the Holy Spirit , rather than our attempting to understand a few words from God and live according to our mental capacity. It is sure that our own designs in living will result in trouble; but God’s direction will always be correct!

These men of God are saying what they saw and being revealed by the Spirit, Its now left for Nigerians to accept or reject their prophecies/declaration. God is full of mercy, when He speaks doom to His people, He can as well change His plan through someone or group of people that seek His face for reconciliation. When all these words had been pronounced, people terrified and sought for repentance and forgiveness of sins. These kind pronunciation occurred in the bible in several occasions. But if they lied or exaggerated the message, it now left to them and Who called them to ministry. Happy New Year

Prophecies can fail. It's clearly stated in the bible so keep shut because you dont have any idea of how these things work instead of creating a thread like this that will give room for insulting and criticizing preachers of the word.

1 Corinthians 13:8 Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail ; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away.

[quote author=damiloladuke post=52436807]Many Nigerians are not going to forget the prophecies reeled out by some Nigerian prophets last year. This is particularly because many of the spiritual predictions, apart from generating controversies, did not also come to pass.
I saw a woman win US election — T.B Joshua
The General Overseer of The Synagogue Church Of All Nations, T.B Joshua, got the world talking when he predicted a win for Democratic Party candidate, Hillary Clinton, against Republican candidate, Donald Trump, during the November 8 presidential party election in the United States.

The man in the Synagogue, as Joshua’s teeming followers love to address him, had stated during a Sunday service that he got a vision that a woman would emerge as the US’ 45th President.
He said to an estatic audience, “I want to share with you what I saw in a vision 10 days ago. I saw the new president of America with a narrow win. That was 10 days ago. In a vision, it was a man that would have won the election. The Lord said narrowly 99 per cent voted for this woman and the woman narrow win (sic). I saw her facing challenges… It was in a vision. They were telling me that 10 days ago. There are a lot of visions and prophecies on the Internet. The men of God saying opposite things, maybe they saw it 15 days ago. They saw a man. I saw a woman 10 days ago because of two straight lines that came together. I want to salute the opposition.’’

He also said the major challenger (Trump) of Hillary Clinton should be awarded after the election for putting up a good fight. However, the emergence of Trump as the US President-elect threw a spanner in the works of the prophecy.
The Sunday after the Tuesday election, T. B Joshua told the congregation, ‘‘We were at a controversial service last Sunday. The prophecy itself was not controversial. The prophecy caused uproar to many who gave it different meanings and interpretations. The prophecy I gave, thousands of people in the US cried to God. They called and sent me emails. They said they heard my prophecy and prayed to God to change it.’’

A northern group’ll recreate CPC — Ayodele
The founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, is no stranger to prophecies. In fact, he reels out prophecies every New Year. Believed to have made many spiritual prophecies that came to pass in the past, some of the ones made in 2016 did not materialise.
Ayodele prophesied that “A northern party will emerge. CPC (Congress for Progressives Change) is not yet over. A group from the North will recreate the CPC with a northern person in charge.’’
In the nation’s political space at least last year, no group from the North has recreated the CPC which merged with the Action Congress of Nigeria and two other parties to form the ruling party, All Progressives Congress. If anything, apart from the 40 political parties in the country, about 60 fresh applications for party registration are currently before the Independent National Electoral Commission.
“Nigeria’s economy’ll shock the world”

The General Overseer of Abundant Life Evangel Mission, Apostle Eugene Ogu, reportedly predicted that the country’s economy would improve despite the global drop in oil prices, adding that the naira would gain strength in the first quarter of 2016.
He said, “Nigeria’s economy will shock the nations of the world. 2016 is a year of divine promotion by the will of God. No man or political party will ever toy with the destiny of Nigerians again. Those who dug the pit of corruption will fall into it.”
In reality, Nigerians complained of hard times throughout the year as the country’s economy entered recession while the naira had since fallen to its lowest in decades against the US dollar.

Buhari ’’ll perform well in 2016 — Abidoye
Also, the Spiritual Head of Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, worldwide, Most Reverend (Dr.) Samuel Abidoye, predicted that President Muhammadu Buhari would perform creditably well in the year 2016 and surprise Nigerians with an improved and better government
Although the military recorded key victories against insurgency in the North-East, including the capture of the dreaded Sambisa Forest, Nigerians are groaning under economic hardship and the current recession.
‘Peterside will be Rivers governor’
Presiding cleric, Christ Apostolic Church, Ori-Oke Irapada, Omu-Aran, Kwara State, Prophet Christopher Owolabi, said the Peoples Democratic Party’s Governor Ayodele Fayose of Ekiti State would be removed from office in 2016 unless he prayed fervently against it. He also said the APC would win the governorship election in Rivers State.
“Fayose should pray very hard to overcome an imminent impeachment from office in 2016… I can also see, as it was revealed to me, the APC candidate in the Rivers State re-ordered fresh governorship election, Dakuku Peterside, being declared the winner of that election,” the cleric, who reportedly predicted the emergence of Bukola Saraki as Senate President, was quoted as saying.

Removal from office could be said to be the least of the troubles Fayose battled in 2016. He ensured that the tenure of the 19 APC lawmakers ended without achieving their aim to remove him from office. Once the state House of Assembly became populated with members of his party after the legislative election, he heaved a sigh of relief.
It was the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission and the Department of State Services that tasked his political and physical strength. Besides, his open and continued criticism of President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration became one of his major focuses in 2016.
It is not also contestable that Governor Nyesom Wike of the PDP is still in charge of Rivers State.

Buhari may be killed – Father Mbaka
Controversial Catholic Priest, Reverend Fr. Ejike Mbaka, warned of the possibility of some masterminds of corruption killing President Muhammadu Buhari in 2016.

Mbaka spoke while delivering his prophetic messages at the Adoration Ground, Enugu State.
He said, “Many people are planning, as it is revealed, to kill Buhari. There are many plans on how to eliminate his life so that corruption, embezzlement will continue.” But throughout 2016, there were no reports of plots to kill the President. So far, the President is hale and hearty. Also, the cleric said the President would expose names of looters.
He said, “By the end of this year, Buhari will expose the names of the people who looted money meant for our roads. What we are suffering now is the resultant effect of the last malignant administration that was intrinsically corrupt. What we are suffering now arose from past administration.

But the Lord says there is hope. Many people are going to suffer. We should all get ready. But after the suffering, we will all smile.”
Last year, President Buhari did not reveal names of those who looted the country’s funds. Many Nigerians had expected the President to reveal the identities of public officials from whom stolen public funds were recovered. Instead, Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo explained that the government did not name the looters because doing so would jeopardise ongoing investigations.

Osinbajo may go missing after a meeting — Kasali
Like other clerics, the General Overseer of the Hour of Mercy Prayer Ministry, Prophet Muyideen Kasali, unveiled some of his prophecies for the year 2016, on January 10.
Kasali, who is a blind prophet, prophesied that Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo would go missing after leaving a meeting.
He said, “Pray for Nigeria’s vice-president so that the enemies would not triumph over him, and that he won’t get missing after leaving a meeting.”
Nothing of such happened to the vice-president. In fact, many Nigerians have described Osinbajo as a workaholic.
In 2016, Osinbajo travelled round the country and attended several meetings on behalf of the President. There were times he travelled to two or three states in a day. He also went on many foreign trips.

Not on one occasion was Osinbajo reported to have gone missing after leaving a meeting.
Also, the cleric said the All Progressives Congress would split into four groups last year.
He warned the party against mismanaging the electoral success it attained in the 2015 general elections. According to him, the APC after becoming too proud and drunk with success, will eventually crumble at the federal level and split into four groups.
He said, “This year, 2016, will be a year of many political crises. APC will split into four groups, and there will no longer be unity among them. They will be over bloated; too much success will destroy the party.”

The Queen of England may die — Iginla
In January 2016, the General Overseer of Champions Royal Assembly, Prophet Joshua Iginla, an Abuja-based pastor, released his predictions for the New Year. Unlike other clerics, Iginla’s predictions cut across various countries. Many of his predictions about Nigeria were correct. In fact, he warned that the country would experience economic recession and that is the current situation in the county now. But on his foreign predictions, one of the most controversial of them was that the Queen of England may die.
He said, “The Queen of England should pray for her health. I see strong challenge and should pray to see the end of the year.”
Apart from a cold during Christmas, the Queen had a spectacular 90th birthday celebration in the year.
Similarly, Iginla also said a major stampede at a religious gathering in Zambia would claim lives.

He said, “I see a major stampede in a major programme that will be held by a major man of God in the country of Zambia. It will claim lives. The prophet should work on his crowd control unit so that he won’t be accused of using people for rituals while his hands are clean.”
Last year, Zambia did not record any ‘major’ stampede at a religious gathering. Instead, it was in India that a major stampede at a religious gathering occurred.

El-rufai should revoke preaching law or die — Suleiman
Following the furore that greeted the proposed religious preaching bill by the Kaduna State Governor, Mallam Nasir el-Rufai, Apostle Johnson Suleiman of the Omega Fire Ministry declared that the governor should revoke the bill or die.
Though Suleiman’s pronouncement could not be classified as a prophecy, its weight made it controversial since it amounted to a spiritual decree. It also generated a lot of reactions on social media.

During a service, Suleiman expressed distaste over the bill, noting that such amounted to suppressing the freedom of religion.
He said, ‘‘I am not against sanitising the state. But you say people should get licence for preaching, it is not applicable in Nigeria. Even a herbalist does not get a licence for practising herbalism. When you say licence for preaching, you are standing against the constitution that gives freedom of worship. There are certain laws that cannot happen in this country. Not when Nigeria is under God. If need be, heaven will intervene over this matter. I am saying this to the Executive (Governor) of Kaduna State, revoke this law or die.’’

In his reaction to the declaration, the governor said he was sure to die someday but challenged the cleric to name the day he would die.
The governor noted, “I have not seen anyone talking about Islam actually. Most of the people that say I would die, as if I would not die, are people who call themselves Christian clergymen. Of course, I will die. If that apostle is truly an apostle, he should mention the day I will die.’’
The state government has not revoked the bill though the noise over it has abated. But el-Rufai is still living despite non-revocation of the bill.
Among his predictions last year, Suleiman predicted that except Americans prayed, President Barack Obama would seek third term with a likelihood of the presidential elections not holding.

The cleric said, ‘‘If Americans don’t pray, there will be no election in 2016 as Obama wants a third term.”
Clearly, there was no such case of desire for tenure elongation by Obama. The presidential election held and a winner emerged in person of the Republican Party candidate, Donald Trump.
Obama did not only concentrate on smooth transition of power, he also campaigned for his party’s (Democratic Party) candidate, Hillary Clinton, who lost to Trump. At no time, before or during the electioneering was any issue about seeking third term as you are writing about there prophecy that dint come to pas, pls also write about there prophecy that was fulfilled

How can you lift the blame from those crooks and place it on a being you dont believe exists?

Proves you believe in God but hate his guts.

OK, ma.

I don't believe in god/gods. But if they exist they are stupid, idiotic, moronic and confused.

Hope I've answered you.

@damiloladuke... I SEE NAIRALAND IS BECOMING A GATHERING OF BLASPHEMERS & CHILDREN OF PERDITION IN FULFILMENT OF THE WORD OF D LORD CONCERNING D LAST DAYS... Listen...

"For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

"We preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews (the traditionalists) a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks (sacrilegious, deluded & self-acclaimed smarties & intelligentsia like d OP, Sexskilzz &Freeze) foolishness;

"(But) the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

"For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men (like these foolish self-acclaimed smart wise ones) after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called:

"But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are:

"That no flesh should glory in his presence." (AMEN).

"We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery, even the hidden wisdom, which God ordained before the world unto our glory:

"Which none of the princes of this world (like these internet 'smarties') knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.

"But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God.

"For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God.

"But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned."

At OP lemme school u on Mbaka's part.U need spiritual knowledge to understand spiritual things. When Jesus Christ said he will destroy a church and build it in 3 days. The Pharisees started questioning him how he can demolish a house they spent many years to build and just build it within 3 days.Do u knw why they question him?Because they lack spiritual knowledge. What he was insinuating then was that he will die and resurrect within 3days.At OP had it been u were in the world then, what u will say is this Jesus did not demolish the church and build it within 3 days as he said. Now will u say that Jesus prophecy failed? So it is only spiritual knowledge u need to understand it.U need spiritual knowledge to understand what Mbaka meant by Buhari will publish names of looters.Ordinary based on human reasoning u would have expected him to be publishing the names on Newspaper.Have u tried to undesterland the spiritual meaning of what Mbaka said? What is Olisa Metuh,FFK,Dasuki and others to you?Are they looters or not?I hope I just schooled u now.Let me again school u on people will try to kill Buhari. Was there anytime that Buhari was sick that people said he will not survive because of ear problem? To a lay man's understanding, trying to kill Buhari may mean attacking him physically or 2ru poison or 2ru his flight. At OP and Punch, the way God understand things is different from the way humans understand it.Mary and Joseph gave birth to Jesus at a very old age.Abraham and his wife gave birth at a very old age.To a lay man reason,it is not possible for them to give birth at that age.But spiritually,it is possible. So at OP and Punch,u need spiritual knowledge to know that Mbaka's prophecy did not fail but u failed by not understanding its spiritual meaning

ALL U WHO BLASPHEME D LORD ON NAIRALAND, BE CAREFUL LEST U ATTRACT HIS WRATH. Read carefully below and understand d ways of d LORD. See how He reversed a prophecy.

"And the word of the Lord came to Elijah, saying, Arise, go down to meet Ahab king of Israel, and thou shalt speak unto him, saying:

"Behold, I will bring evil upon thee, and will take away thy posterity, and will cut off from Ahab him that pisseth against the wall, and him that is shut up and left in Israel.

"And it came to pass, when Ahab heard those words, that he rent his clothes, and put sackcloth upon his flesh, and fasted, and lay in sackcloth, and went softly.

"And the word of the Lord came to Elijah, saying, Seest thou how Ahab humbleth himself before me?

"BECAUSE HE HUMBLETH HIMSELF BEFORE ME, I WILL NOT BRING THE EVIL IN HIS DAYS: but in his son's days will I bring the evil upon his house."

OH NAIRALANDERS, NO WORD OF D LORD CAN GO UNFULFILLED. HE ONLY SOMETIMES DELAYS IT.

AND, FINALLY... ECCL.12..

"Remember now thy Creator in the days of thy youth, while the evil days come not, nor the years draw nigh, when thou shalt say, I have no pleasure in them;

"Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil."
