Hi Nairalanders,i'd like your honest opinion on this issue.
My friend has got a HND in Mechanical Engineeing from Yabatech and he just concluded his NYSC not quit long ago. Yesterday, he told me he'd like to study abroad,preferably canada, as the economic situation Nigeria is in a sorry state. The crux of his confusion is this,he doesn't know if he will be required to start afresh as a year one undergraduate or if their exists a scheme that absorbs a HND graduate from a nigerian higher institution into a post graduate program sort of.

Furthermore,is canada a good choice of study? I'd like nairalanders in the know to help educate me on jobs,school fees,opportunities,etc as regards canada. Thanks in advance!
