In a rather shocking turn of events, Manchester City suffered a devastating defeat from Everton. Manchester City's Manager Pep Guardiola and Everton's manager Ronald Koeman were former team mates but there was certainly no epirit de corps between them by the end of the match. Guardiola who was discombobulated having conceded two goals in the first half alone with an opener by Romelu Lukaku was certainly not happy with his team for a poor display after Nigerian Ademola Lookman sealed the 4th goal for Everton just before the final whistle. This leaves Manchester City crashing out of the top 4 as it stands while Everton secure their number 7 spot on the EPL. |

The Citizens have got probably the most horrific defence amongst the top clubs. Otamendi gets unbelievable more horrible with each passing game no thanks to a caricature of fullbacks. With both Fernandinho and Iker out, Toure has yet proved he's probably past his best. Not shocking...could have been more. An absolute wake-up call for Pep, else City will miss out on a European berth come may. |
