My Story As A Physically Challenged Entrepreneur. by Ichiebullion(m): 1:06pm On Jan 17, 2017
My name is Stanley Obumneme Nnoruga from umueze isuofia, aguata local government area, anambra state... CEO stanzo3 collection a subsidiary of Evakistamel Nig Ltd in which I'm also a shareholder.

Educational background

Went to M.D nursery and primary school agidingbi, lagos.
Moved to marist comprehensive Academy uturu Abia state, that was a missionary boarding school, I didn't finish dere, I came bk to lagos and went to specialist college ogba, made my O'level in ss2 with GCE at St. John College. I wrote jamb 4 times, during those years I went to a computer school to study desktop publishing and worked in business centers and cybercafe before I got admission into anambra state university uli in 2008 to study computer science, I graduated in 2012. Proceeded for my nysc in 2013 and passed out 2014. I also have certificate in Java and C# programming languages which I acquired during my industrial training.

How it all started

It all started in 2012 wen I graduated from anambra state University, when it was dawn on me that I can't work for anyone because of something about me only few people knows, the truth is that I'm physically challenged and there is no provision in this country for the physically challenged.. So I decided to work from home and be my own little boss.. The keyword was being an entrepreneur, so I spent nights doing research on wat to do with my nysc allowance den I stumbled on a thread on nairaland about DIY importation biz thanks to ymodulos.. When I got my first nysc allowance I followed the step by step guide and I successfully imported 15pcs female fashion wrist watches which was new in nigeria that was in February 2014. I sold all almost immediately and got more than 100% profit, wen dollars was still N150/$, so I used all the money again added more money from my nysc allowance and imported more, then I understood the power of turnover.
After several months of importing Wristwatches I added women handbags and boom, money was multiplying that was d birth of stanzo3 collections.

How has your condition affected stanzo3 collections?

The only problem is I can't move around to meet customers and fellow business acumen but thanks to my brothers n friends who have been representing me all this while

Apart from importation wat other business is stanzo3 into?

Stanzo3 collections just started Trading cryptocurrencies, bitcoin to be precise.. I also buy iTunes gift cards and Amazon gift cards.. Stanzo3 collections also buys shops and rent out to people. But bitcoin is the future currency, a currency that the whole world will recognize in few years to come..

What is the greatest mistake u ve made?

Hmmmm.. This one is hard but it's gonna shock many ppl.. My greatest mistake was going to the university in nigeria, if I knew all wat I know now I would have gone to a technical school instead, don't get me wrong, university is for those that dere parents have connections and have secured job for them. Thanks to the ppl I met in the university(Amo, nado, tiza, sugarboi) who opened my eyes to the Hustle of this world. Without this ppl I would ve been nobody today because there's no hope of survival for the physically challenged in this country.

Wat future plans do you have?

Have atleast 7 sources of income, To get married, have kids, run a 20yrs compound investment for my kids in any invest company like schwab or fidelity investment. Also will have a business school which will strictly be involved training the physically challenged to make a better future.

What is ur advise for the youth?

My advice for the youth is to focus more on harnessing dere talents and learn a handwork after secondary school, check if you can make money out of it, make it your business, project urself into the future and see wats it looks like, if it's worth it kip doing it. The secret of business is "kip doing that same thing, as far as ppl kip knowing u for that same thing one day u will look back n see how far u ve gone n u will smile" Always read books on business, financial growth, trade and investments.

I will end here with a notable quote for u all to hold on to
"You are not rich until expensive becomes cheap"

The white man will say "if you want to hide anything from a black man put it in a book"

Inspiring, sometimes it baffles me when some people put all their hopes on Ponzi schemes that they don't know if they will be able to access the next morning. There are over 1001 ways to make a decent living online right from your bedroom without been hypertensive. Funny enough you don't need a dime to start most.

Whether Physically callenged or not, Nigerian youths need to dust their clothes, roll up their sleeves and workhard. There is absolutely nothing like fast or easy cash.

God bless ur hustle. Some who are not physically challenged are still doing nothing, waiting for one relation to send them money to start something. Poverty is in the head.
