My Father always told me 2 learn how to leave when d ovation is d loudest...I have always borrowed dat leaf from d proverbial sons of Issachar who understood d times. The tiny West African State of The Gambia trended on d news dis week all on d wrong reasons... Why? Their sit-tight president who recently lost at d polls having been in power over 22 years refused to concede defeat. The "self acclaimed medical professor and Healer" who at a time claimed to have discovered d cure for Hiv/aids initially congratulated his opponent Mr.Barrow but then made a quick detour, citing gross Irregularities. He tried using his incumbent power to circumvent d constitution but allegedly forgot dat we are in d 21st century where sit-tight leaders and hermit nations are no longer fashionable. Now enter African's "disciplinary prefect" Nigeria and E.C.O.M.O.G to restore order. H.E Yahaya Jammeh, realising dat he has bitten more Dan he can chew now tucks tail n flees like a beaten dog confirming the Ibo proverb which says dat "If U cook for the community, They can finish it but when the community cooks for you, you can never ever finish it.
