Nigeria is a failed state, National Assembly should auction Nigeria for sale on e-bay and sell it off to the WEST or alternatively, the G-7 should buy off Nigeria and share it among-st themselves, nonsense sad

With cheap steel from China, it will be a total waste for buhari to sink money into the Stalin era steel plant.

Anybody protesting now with the present situation on ground is nothing but a nuisance..

where were they when GEJ and his cabinet members mismanaged the economy, stashing the nation's wealth in banks abroad. Thank God they can't spend it freely as planned. Foolish thieves

GEJ should be prosecuted first for our country to progress. He should die alongside his thieves if need be

[quote author=sar33 post=53158858]Hundreds of Nigerian youths took to the the streets of Abuja to demand the judicious revival of steel industry by calling on president Buhari to reengage the Original Builders of Ajaokuta steel complex back to site.

They also called for the immediate termination of the GINL - NIOMCO (Itakpe) re-concession contract due to its breach sof Article 12A of the agreement amongst others .

The FG through the minister of Solid Mineral should tell Nigerian how much is required to jump start the steel company, the legal hitches delaying the work and what the government has been doing to start the company.
It was reported last year that the country spent over $15b to import steel products which Ajaokuta can provide and also export. How then can a country neglect such a project? If FG is proposing a loan of $29.9b and we have a firm the can generate more than $20b in a year, should we not be ready to put money into such project.
At this point, it is necessary for us on this forum to invite Dr Fayemi to come and brief Nigerian of the state of the firm. A firm that is capable of generating over 150,000 job shouldn't he taking for granted.

Naturally it would cost us more to produce steel than import thanks to china the worlds top exporter of steel they import it so cheap that countries can't compete with them now the dollar has risen It might be wise except we are hoping the dollar remains this way. They should all go back home and do their home Work

If Nigerians youths don't hold government and politicians full time
accountable. they want to tell us another story.
They told us to pray for our leaders, what did they do for us in return of all of the prayers?

All 36.5 states youths should rise for their destinies, we are no more kids, we have kids and to taking care of.
#Enough is enough.

#Tubaba national protests.
