crackhouse:
What of if u type ur CV with microsoft word 2010 and the reader have 2003 in his or her computer. What do u think will happen to it when it's opened with 2003 edition.
The 2003 option will not open the 2010 option because of compatibility issue. Therefore when saving it after typing in 2010, after typing the file name, in the drop down option Save as type: select the option word 97 - 2003 document and then save. In this way, any version of microsoft word can open the document properly.

This is applicable to excel and power point as well.
