The reason is so simple, after marriage couples don't see the need to impress one another as they have entered the final stage of their relationship which is marriage..

The truth of the matter is that people try to impress during dating/courtship and when that is over the real them comes to light.

Its not about impressing anyone. When a woman cooks for her husband, is she not going to partake of the meal? She's also going to enjoy all the orisirisi in the soup na.
