The bread fruit i know of has it's skin thorn-like like pucupine(is dat d spelling?). It's green wen young and brown wen ripe. It has got many nuts inside so one boil them and crack nd eat. Some varieties are pounded like yam, so my dad nd other elderly ppl told us. We've got a tree of dat at our backyard but school prevents me from eating, now it's close to a year I saw it last.
