Yates fired: full text of White House statement The acting Attorney General, Sally Yates, has betrayed the Department of Justice by refusing to enforce a legal order designed to protect the citizens of the United States. This order was approved as to form and legality by the Department of Justice Office of Legal Counsel. Ms. Yates is an Obama Administration appointee who is weak on borders and very weak on illegal immigration. It is time to get serious about protecting our country. Calling for tougher vetting for individuals travelling from seven dangerous places is not extreme. It is reasonable and necessary to protect our country. Tonight, President Trump relieved Ms. Yates of her duties and subsequently named Dana Boente, U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, to serve as Acting Attorney General until Senator Jeff Sessions is finally confirmed by the Senate, where he is being wrongly held up by Democrat senators for strictly political reasons. “I am honored to serve President Trump in this role until Senator Sessions is confirmed. I will defend and enforce the laws of our country to ensure that our people and our nation are protected,” said Dana Boente, Acting Attorney General. He has half the American public service to fire then...Forming a new sheriff in town may just not help Trump's administration. Everybody understands there is a new Paradigm but it could evolve not necessarily revolt. Trump at least for now cannot beat his chest and say he knows the sexuality of his present and incoming cabinet an administrative members and even service chiefs. So the day he discovers anybody in his administration is Gay Wht does he do; fire the person? I just chose that as a simple example of the kinds of problem an aggressive leader faces. Trump will certainly have a lot of cabinet members who would have secret biases for different policies but will be quite at the moment thinking when fully in government they can discourage or frustrate the policies from the inside. Just a thing has having your first love a Mexican can make an administration official have a diff view of immigration laws and trump may not know he has folks with emotions in his cabinet. The day he knows, Fire. Trump go fire tire because it's a complete old way of life he wants to change and some people don't let go easily the old ways an the feeling that goes with it. Trump will have plenty of wahala that may affect his health. Personal business is not government business. 1 Like |
