I'm doing microbiology at the moment and i have always had this thought of doin medicine. Should i do medicine or another biology course? PLS HELP!

do what you think is right for you, what your heart directs you to do and if you are a christian pray to God for the Holy Spirit to guide you.

If you're sure you can cope with it's rigors or u want some job security, or just want to look cool , then go for medicine. But remember it takes more time. Then I personally feel it boxes people up in practice, ie if you really want to do it well, unlike the "single honors" that tend to force people to think/go outside of the box. There are lots of possibilities out there if u free up your mind, even with microbiology.

am really stuck in this kind of stuff also please i really need help am in a fix of whether studying medicine, pharmacy, my mum tells me dentistry doesn't get good pay and that is shouldn't go to that area but also i like the computer IT stuff please really do advice me you can get me on adeteejayo4@gmail.com

yeah i get wat u mean, temisafety. there r ppl who did a single honours degree n r workin in a completely different field. I like the idea of becomin a professional, becomin somethin big n yeah lookin cool thats the main reason i want 2 do medicine. Another reason why i want 2 do med is coz i want 2 do somethin big in naija, i'm curently in UK n would (after gainin experience) like 2 come back n make a MAJOR change. 1. i dunno how easy it is to make a MAJOR change. 2. cant i make a major change with microbiology?

adetunji, i'm not in a position 2 help at the moment seein that i myself am confused!
