Unfortunately, the Nigerian faithful's will be in suspense.

They will be expecting an improved Eagles because of this win.

I pray they don't disappoint y'all.

Good luck.

I thot Berti Vogts was awful.

Gosh, this is an all-time low.
I can't agree with you less. And am so disapointed in Benin Republic that they couldn't punish our super fowls.
These days I watch Nigerian matches and instead of being happy after victory, I get more depressed sad sad sad

This is really an all time low footballing period for Nigeria. So so Sad and shameful angry angry sad sad

Re: Nigeria Vs Benin At Nations Cup: 1 - 0 by princekevo(m): 7:04pm On Jan 16, 2010
Am ashame of myself. So if not for the penalty we wouldnt have scored common Benin republic. Amodu is not a coach i have said it so many times. Infact we are wasting money on the coaching crew, coz the boyz wouldnt have played anything less without a coach.

Re: Nigeria Vs Benin At Nations Cup: 1 - 0 by deb(m): 7:09pm On Jan 16, 2010
so in summary, if it wasn't for that hand-ball, this match would have been a draw. very pathetic.

Wait to read the dailies tomorrow and you will read how heroic Amodu will sound about the stupid unconvincing victory
Re: Nigeria Vs Benin At Nations Cup: 1 - 0 by nazzyon(m): 7:10pm On Jan 16, 2010
Quit blaming Amodu the NFF should share in whatever you want to say.

I have not seen that year where the NFF ordered their players to come home. What they do is invite them.

If NFF is in need of a foreign based player who shares dual Nationality their impression is never convincing enough for the guys to come back home.

Here is a question:

Does Nigeria have a standard institute for training coaches?

------

Don't blame the man (Amodu), blame the system.

Muri Ogunbiyi won MOM Award no??

He deserved to win the MOM Awards.

Question, which team was better? For me it was clearly Benin, they were just unlucky to have hit the crossbar twice.
Shame on Eagles Chickens

Another proof that the NFF ) is a failure (Nigerian Premier League) is known to every football fan who happens to be a Nigerian.

Only few Nigerian watch the league. Most prefer foreign based leagues to Nigerian Premier League, myself included. No Devotion, No Direction, No Direction.

Amodu probably started as a primary school coach before he attained this current level.
