This is a giant Yellow yam called Okpai in Ukwuani and Igangan in Yoruba. The yam was harvested at 12 months old . It took the farmers 3 days to harvest harvest the longest one. These yam was produce in Umuaja (my home town)in Ukwuani Local Government, Delta state, Nigeria
