Students of the Federal University Technology Owerri are out in masse, protesting the Hike of school fees and course registrations, in the tenure of the New Vice chancellor, School fees jumped from 33000/28000 to 39000 and for new students up to 55000 acceptance jumped up to 50000, Course registrations moved from free or little as 500 to as High as 4500,3600 n others, Then Students were given a deadline to pay up for school fees or additional 10000 would be added, other complaints include ineffective SUG n Oppressive Man'O war, and the absence of banks in FUTO, A federal University of over 50000 students serviced by a Single bank, endless queues n exorbitant bank charges, reporting Live more details coming shortly cc Seun ishilove |
