@OP, I think the formulae for Area of all shapes should be there e.g L X B, 1/2 B X H, Pie r squared, etc MaziOmenuko: Bro... When I did Heat Transfer in 500L, I gat2 there's more 2 it o... In fact, since volume don different, d tym 4 heat transfer go different SirWere:Law of Gravity by Newton (No. 4 in d list) no b Physics? Even Navier Stokes, Wave eqn, Thermo, etc... SirWere:In those days just like till present, its really difficult to seperate maths from physics. Einstein himself acknowledged that he would have discovered the theory of relativity much earlier if he had a better understanding of mathematics. Schrodinger also said he would have made his equation more elegant if he had a better understanding of maths. Sir Isaac Newton, the greatest Physicist in my opinion shares the discovery of calculus with Lebnitz abi na Euler. Maths and Physics are so interwoven that its difficult to seperate them. Maths is the language that Physicists and Engineers use. Infact...if your maths is sound. Engineering and Physics becomes a walk in the park. I struggled in my physics degree becuase my maths foundation was weak, but by the time I returned for a 2nd degree Electrical Engineering...I was easily topping the class cos my maths skills had greatly improved by that time. The hardest course in engineering depts and physics are still the ones with heavy mathematical contents. Mathematicians...i bow for una ooo...lol 1 Like |

MaziOmenuko: Excellent insight. This here is the basis of the design of fuel efficient modern cars, helicopters and aircrafts. Volvo cars made in the 90s are barely wrecked in an accident because their outer body are made from strong and heavy metallic sheet like steel. Roll on to present day, the body of cars comprises of lighter materials such as glassy fiber, polymers, polymer composites. |

shinarambo1:Hi, First off, respect to you, sir! Two degrees when I'm still here managing my own undergraduate issues. You, sir, are the real MVP. Secondly, while I agree mathematics and physics are inter-twined, I still think there are some intrinsic differences between the two. Mathematics is a tool, a language, a medium of expressing and penning down one's logic while Physics on the art of investigating the phenomena around us and the reason for things working why they work (I'm sure I could be more elegant than this but...) An analogy would be the relationship between english or any language and literature. While English is the medium the message is being passed in, literature is the story we're being told. None can exist without the other and of course any good master storyteller must be well versed in the syntax of the language he tells it in. Certainly, none can do without the other; a good master storyteller usually delights with his mastery in english and a good physicist, engineer or (any scientists for that matter!) must be "articulate" in Mathematics..,, Yet, they are different.... So my point is, physics laws and formulas usually describes or denotes a physical system that has real existence while a mathematical law might not neccesarily describe a real system or even something remotely possible. Take negative combination for instance. Complex numbers. Irrational numbers. How can there be -1?? It is not real. How can 1 be divided by nothing? It is not possible. Yet, mathematics does not care. |

How did the British know that Everest is the highest mountain on earth even when several other mountains gave an illusion of being higher ? Simple ! They used trigonometry and Pythagoras Theorem to calculate the exact height. Mathematics was the only reliable tool for finding important unknown distances. |

Equations #1-17 wherever they are correct, all come out of the GOD ALMIGHTY'S GRAND UNIFIED THEOREM (GAGUT), because all correct equations come out of GAGUT Gij,j=0, where the invariant Gij represents all invariants in equations #1-17 and all other equations past, present and future infallibly. Gij is the differential geometry form of GAGUT and the algebraic form is the invariant Eta sub n- gnj(xj)^(n+1)=0.For example in equation #1 the Pharoah Shabaka Theorem (the so called "pythagoras" theorem was well known before him as evidenced from the pyramids in Khemet), the Gij will be (Eta sub 1)- (g1j(xj)^2)=0 where x1 becomes a and the power is 2 and then the second term x2 becomes b and the power is 2 and g11 and g12 are both 1, therefore Eta sub 1 =c^2, hence you get the invariant for the Pharoah Shabaka theorem that comes out of GAGUT. For example the Gij for equation #13 when n=-1 is (Eta sub-1)-( g-1j(xj)^(0))=0 where g-1j is the only term and g-1j =-MC2 and Eta sub -1 = E so you have E-MC2=0. Since all equations #1-17 come out of GAGUT, therefore the real number #1 equation is Gij,j= 0 and its rigorous infallible proof Eta Sub n= gnj*(xj)^(n+1)(and from #1-17 when any of the equations are correct, it infallibly follows they all come out of Gij,j=0) GAGUT. _
