As I informed the house earlier when I initiated this thread, FIRS has started calling those that applied for Officer grade for Screening. I got a text from them yesterday. venue is The Unity Bank House, 14, Sokode Crescent , Opposite the Revenue House, Wuse Zone 5, Abuja . The date is 09/01/10. But I believed other people would have different date and time for their screening. Wish all Nairalanders the best.

i also received an email about the exercise to be carried out at abuja, but i have a little problem as i have not yet concluded my nysc. Would that be a problem because we are to bring a copy of our nysc discharge cert.

got text and email from firs for certificate screening slated for abuja on saturday 9th jan 2010. they ask for"PAY EVIDENCE", WHAT DOES IT MEAN?

By pay evidence, they want an evidence of you collecting salary in the last three months. A three months pay slip would suffice.

what grade of applicants are being called for screening right now. Do we know if they have started calling Manager grade for the screening ?

Apparently the text is from newedenn consulting probably not connected to FIRS at all.

so what is the real thing as far as this FIRS thing is concerned cos a friend got the same text,pls LORD REED do react to this

Still no strong confirmation of wat it's about yet. For now I can only say, jokers won't spend time sending out sms to a whole bunch of people.

Can someone in the house give us the latest as per FIRS in this new year 2010. I have not heard of anything again after the second test i.e functional area test. Could it be that have invited some people for interview after then?. I actually applied as a Senior Manager

I got a txt frm firs (confirmed) for certificate screening/interview, mine is on tuesday 9 a.m.

i think it real that FIRS interview has started cos a friend in kaduna went yestaday.just dt FIRS decided to change the former consultant for NEWDEM,from a reliable source i had that they conducted for managers on 7/1/10 while on the 8 they did for the deputy.

Turns out they are consultants for real. Went to the venue today and the test was conducted as scheduled. Talked to one of the guys in charge n he said those dat passed would be called for an interview. Attendance was quite small though maybe like 30 people. Don't know if it was for FIRS though.

guys! FIRS has started inviting people to come for their letters. I got an SMS and email to come 4 my letter this week. A friend that wrote d first test but was never invited subsequently was however invited for certificate screening and oral interview on the 14th of May. After the interview he was told that he would be contacted.

So pls keep ur hope alive. ur dream of working in FIRS will be realized in Jesus Name.

I got an e-mail from FIRS to come for an offer letter from next week Monday.
So, people who re still waiting for offer letter should check there e-mail box and not to wait 4 text msg.
