What is Hoope Alive?
Hoope Alive is a mutual aid initiative for the youths. It is an initiative and a movement whose programs are focused at helping young people become successful in their lifes pursuit. Hoope Alive is set up to raise a generation of responsible and society building youths who will be able to the dare the circumstances of their time and rise as champions.

To raise a generation of young people who will make a difference in their world.
MISSION
To help every youth in the world discover their true identity and potential in order to shine as bright lights in the midst of the darkness and the chaos in the world; thus lighting up the world.
IDEOLOGY
Ten cardinal beliefs
1. We believe that every youth has a dream and in it the ability to change the world.
2. We believe that every youth should look to the future with hope today.
3. We believe that every youth has the right to become anything positive he/she wishes to become.
4. We believe that there is enough in-born power in every youth to change the world.
5. We believe that no youth should be deprived of the necessary virtues of life either caused by social, economic and political factors in the pursuit of goals.
6. We believe that every youth is a born champion, a winner and has the tenacity to actualize his dreams.
7. We believe that the youths are the preservers of every generation and hold the keys to the future development of the world
8. We believe that there is good in every youth with the ability to become the best they could be.
9. We believe in the mental and financial empowerment of the youth.
10. We believe that every youth has the right to information, love, peace and a fulfilled life.

According to the Webster dictionary, a youth is a time of life when one is young. It is also defined as appearance, vigor, freshness, spirit, strength according to Wikipedia. It is said that the young age is between 17 years to 50 years of a human’s life. The youth stage can be termed as the prime phase of life in a human being.
In our world today, there is a lot of drama and chaos. We live in a world full of wickedness greed, pride and violence that has shaped our lifes. As the drama and chaos continues, the hopes and dreams of millions of young have been compromised and squashed, never to rise again. Millions of young people have been sent to either early graves or a disillusional pilgrimage, wondering in life; mental hobos they have become.
In our society, the youths have become endangered species. Many dreams of our youths die before they have the chance to have expression. Many are led to live false lives shaped for them by corrupt and wicked men who seek to pollute and destroy our youths in the pursuit of greedy gains.
Most of our youths are misguided, possessing wrong values passed to them by misguided elders so-called. Does the future of our youth mean anything to anyone? There are several youth programs spearheaded by NGOs, government and other such entities but yet it’s almost impossible not to sight the monster of politics and greedy gain especially in Africa.
Our youths are killed daily, sent on suicide missions, destitute, orphans, forgotten by society and yet the world says the youth are the future. It is worthy to note that a lot has been done by a few organizations and governments to help our youths but the gap is extremely wide.
We at Hoope Alive stand up for the youths of the world and voice out;
Saying No; saying Enough is Enough.
Enough of the killings and burning out of our youths.
Enough of the misguided and failure-sure orientation being fed to our youths.
Enough of the politics being played by the elders that daily sabotage our youth’s dreams.
Enough of seeing our youths lost, forgotten, hopeless, roaming our streets without direction without being able to achieve their dreams.
A society or state where the youths cannot achieve their dreams is a failed society or state.
Our youths struggle to get an education, if it is an education. After school, they fight and struggle to live their dreams, most of who have failed in their quest.
Our youth seek to express themselves with the unique gifts in them but there are only a few listening and caring enough. We live in a world full of unsatisfied and dissatisfied youths; why wont the world burn? “When you create a monster you must live its terrors and horrors”.
OUR STAND
Our work and pledge is to galvanize the youths of the world to help them take their future in their hands. To help them look again, find their lost dreams, pick it up and fight to win. To help the youth discover their dignity and identity to stand tall and confident with the ability to make wise choices. To work with resilient youth champions globally who will stand by each other to fulfill their dreams. To mend our broken world with God given minds and hearts of a youth to shape a world we can be proud of. To stand with each other as youths to keep hope alive for every youth that needs it.
