Every Sunday, we troop in to church like flies who have just encountered the scent of honey on the floor. We gather, we dance, we sing, we pray, we give and then we go back home worst than how we went to the church because we never encountered the one person that is the reason for our gathering.

Our foundation is faulty because we never cared to know in whose name we are gatherimg, we never cared to know on whose foundation our faith is found.

Why do we go to Church or become Christians?

To many, it is the fear of going to hell fire.
Now remove heaven from the whole equation, will you still follow Jesus?

What if Heaven was just a lie, will you regret ever knowing the prince of peace? If your faith and believe in Christ is because you were threatened with hell fire, then am sorry to tell you that your believe is baseless.

Let the foundation of our gathering be Jesus. The only difference between a Church meeting and every other social gatherings is the presence of God. (Exo 33:14-16)

If this is absent, then the church service is nothing better than a party where men come to decieve each other and still claim to be the people of God.

It is high time we stop this costly assumption. Go back and find the reason for your gathering, until then, we are all wasting our precious time on assuming Jesus to be with us when we have left him behind. (Luke 2:44)

Let Jesus be reason for your gathering.
