Chiropractors are very scarce in Nigeria, hence ; PHYSIOTHERAPIST can do the wonders for your various ailments affecting your mobility and well being. spinal pain, low back pain , peripheral pain , cervical pain radiating to the head etc .......physical treatment even in the absence of drugs

E no go sell here because it is only when you don chop belleful that you'll remember visiting a chiropractor. What most Nigerians, Yours Truly inclusive, do is invite siblings/spouses to help reset every 'shifted tendon' and stretch stiff limbs.

However, If the tin hungry you too much, go to the traditional Ijaw bone setters let them use eba power to massage your body

Op, If Chiropractic is highly effective in the treatment of muscoskeletal disorders, Why has Usain Bolt not undergone the procedure to treat his spine as he suffers from Scoliosis??.

Most chiropractors don't even know what they're doing. They work on you and the placebo effect kicks in, only to vanish and and leave you with serious complications like herniated discs. The profession isn't scientific enough IMO.

You are soooo WRONG!

There are "quacks" in every profession, orthodox medicine inclusive so, you might have been exposed to a quack chiropractor.

I use to have a pain for so many years that X-rays, battery of tests, e.t.c by Doctors and Physios have refused to solve.
They just keep saying "nothing is wrong with you", yet l feel pain in my lower spine!
I wont go into much details but just two visits to a Chiropractor (based on recommendation), solved the problem.
He said it was just a mis-alignment of the spine.

Lie down on that bed, raise the hips, put some triangular-shaped wedge at the appropriate points, apply small but sharp pressure and that was all he did........ to solve a problem that Doctors have been exposing me to unnecessary X-rays for years!
After it, l play and exercise like l could not do for a long time. (its some years now)

I think it is the height of ignorance, to condemn something you have no-clue about.
Maybe you are confusing a professional Chiropractor, with one of them "Ijaw Bone Setters", some of who do trial-and-error? shocked

I've never been to one before but my husband has for a back problem which was well handled by the doctor. It is a Chinese owned and managed place and they are really good with it, so they have quite a lot of clients and it's also moderately priced at 15k per session.

I haven't heard of any Nigerian owned centres but if you are good at what you do and put yourself out there via adverts, you should be patronized.

The practice isn't popular around here because people don't know of it's importance. Early and thorough treatment of lingering body pains and problems can prevent some life threatening illnesses when one gets older.

please ma'am, I would appreciate if you help me with some informations on how the whole procedure went, from the point he was administered, the requirements, was it just one chiropractor or are there other workers. I have a brother who wants to establish one. But, wants to have a little insight on how it works here in Nigeria. Please I really need your help on that. Thanks

I've been struggling with severe back pain in the last few months, and I go to a chiropractor almost every week. Mine it's a very good specialist from teamalliedpw.com so I think as long you'll do your job at a professional level, you will have plenty of clients. Very many people have back problems so this profession is highly requested. Doing this at home may seem unprofessional for some people, so maybe you should consider renting a space for this. It's just a recommendation, or at least, this is what I think

Is it safe to go every week? It's not to often. My doctor recommended going once in two weeks, that's why I'm asking. I would also want to go every week, but I didn't know if it's ok.
